To have heard about this place upon a previous visit to Hindors town had got Layla both intrigued and mildly excited to know that there were a place that in whatever way a human and their pokemon could train without the worry that their efforts would cause significant harm to others or themselves other than the slight discomfort of whatever training that they had come here for.
Layla stepped briskly into the dojo with Spearow perched comfortably upon her shoulder before approaching the desk and the lady in which resided behind it and helped those in seeking out the most suitable room in which would serve each trainers purpose here. In this particular case despite the fact that Layla already knew Spearow's capabilities to improve upon his speed and general agility when in the air were what Layla truly wanted to achieve upon this visit. For who knew just when such a time were to come that speed more than anything else were required?
This were explained to the woman behind the desk who pointed to a room just to the side of them where it would seem would suit the silvery haired rangers and her birds purposes quite well. So it had been after thanking the woman for her time that the human and bird moved towards and entered the room, ensuring they were to close the door behind them so they would not be disturbed. The sight of what were within got Layla managing a smile before just about managing to turn her gaze to Spearow who in turn looked ready to go. After all the course in which were laid out and all the moving parts that would challenge them both equally was more than enough to get the pair motivated. "Alright then Spearow, you ready?" Layla asked cheerily which were just as quickly got a cheery chirp in return before the small bird flapped into the air and the began to race each other around the course.

Strange that of all the places in which Layla would find herself going on during a period of time where she were to have little else to do was this large building that served as the Dojo, but then again it were not exactly a bad way to spend some free time was it? Not when it also served the purpose of working on any moves that would either need work or find good combinations for any potential future situations in which Layla and her pokemon were to find themselves in. And today it were going to be Zarri's turn for understanably the poor little Torchic had felt insulted the last time in which they had come here and it had been Spearow and not her that had spent the first session here, well today if nothing else were going to be the day in which the slvery haired ranger were to make up for such things.
The little fire chick had charged in ahead of Layla and were waiting impatiently at the reception desk while both her human and the one in charge of directing others and their pokemon to the various rooms on offer, a few minutes in discussion were all that were needed for the pair to be heading towards a room that would seem suitable for them. And upon entering the room that they had ben assigned it would seem that it were as good as perfect in what they would need it for, a piece of equipment that on the outside looked similliar to the machines used for shooting tennis balls out but instead were filled with lightweight clay balls designed to be easy to fire, destroy and clean up after.
Not that either of them were all too interested in the last option jsut yet; instead they were far too focused upon what they were to do. The first of these 'clay balls' were thrown forth and literally caused Zarri to spring into action; tracing the route of the object before charging forth and using all that she could find as a foothold to jump up high enough to hit and destroy the ball in a cloud of dust before landing back upon her feet and trotting back to her previous position next to Layla to continue to repeat the process - getting just a litter faster each time. Now this was something that Zarri was truly starting to enjoy doing.

This was certainly starting to become a regular activity and place to come to and do whatever it were that she needed or otherwise planned with doing here, not that it were a bad thing as far as Layla were concerned. For although it were a natural thing for pokemon to battle and such - whether against wild ones or those who had a trainer of some description to travel with - sometimes it also worked just as well to train here and be able to think things through a bit more and work out any kinks should any arise. Or to put it more simply; make efforts to better use up Spearow's bored energy in a more productive way - thus a trip to the dojo would do just that.
They had arrived here just as it seemed a whole bunch of people had in turn exited so hopefully that meant there would be a variety of rooms now ready for use by others such as them. Especially as Layla wished to try something different out today and thankfully after speaking to the receptionist briefly she found the room that was most hoped for.
Heading over to and entering it the first thing that puzzled Spearow about it were that there were many dummies within it, this not being quite what he had expected - but hey; Layla was the boss right? And of course even without so much as a word from the silvery haired ranger it were not hard to guess just what her plans for this session were. So even before instructions were given the small bird flap his wings to lift himself off her shoulder and into the air before speedily charging at the dummies talons extended and scratching at them - well you had to pretend they were real threats right?

It had been quite a while since Layla had made the trip all the way out to the dojo and made use of it's facilities along with her pokemon, so now that she had purposefully come all the way here she could not really make herself turn around and leave now without having done anything here. That and it were to seem like a more than suitable place to see just how her Dunsparce - Sandi - were to deal with certain circumstances. Nothing too hard of course, but just enough to prepare the normal type pokemon for various situations that may occur in time.
Because of that particular thought had Layla requested a room that had an obstacle course laid out with for them both to participate in, the sight of such upon stepping into this room seemed to puzzle Sandi for a time before turning her attention up to the silvery haired ranger who after having allowed her own gaze to wander to all that were within the extensive room looked down to the Dunsparce before smiling reassuringly to her yellow companion. "Don't worry Sandi, this won't be too bad. This is just going to be a bit of a warm up alright? Just to see how can handle yourself. Not that I have any doubts about you of course." Layla spoke gently and kindly before Sandi answered with a slight fluttering of her small 'wings' to show she were ready.
Only then did both ranger and pokemon begin working their way around the course, climbing up and over slightly raised structures amongst various other things spending many hours traversing the route until they both managed to become gradually more in sync with the other.

A excited and cheery chirping sound were all that followed Layla as she made her way up to then into the large building that were the dojo, which in turn caused a small smile to form upon her features as her gaze lifted and followed the form of Spearow as the small bird fluttered ahead and around the ranger as they headed towards one of the rooms that she had made an effort to book in advance for her visit today. It were true that in some ways a visit to the dojo were a highlight to the week not for herself but for her pokemon companions given they naturally wished to grow as strong as they were able to.
So enough of that; Layla really needed to focus on what she and Spearow were here for and it were not to stand around thinking all day. Reaching and stepping into their designated room did both ranger and small bird look over what were on offer; in this case it looked like an aerial obstacle course which were quite an interesting sight to behold. So after several minutes of admiring all that were on offer within this room before setting to work, or more accurately Spearow got to work even before his silvery haired companion could say a word.
After this the small bird were became a simple blur as Spearow began to manoeuvre swiftly and near gracefully though all the hoops and other obstacles, only occasionally gaining a few knocks in the process through a mistimed action.

Alright, now it were time to come back to the Dojo and see what they could work upon today for although it were true that Layla had made plans for an entirely different training day, but as soon as she had made mention of where she had intended to go today and with her it had turned out that Zarri had entirely different ideas. The small Torchic had made it plainly - and loudily - clear that if the silvery haired ranger were going to do any form of training with anyone at the Dojo it were going to be her and in all honesty after the little fire chick's outburst Layla did not have the heart to refuse her.
So it were with that descision made that Layla had strode into the Dojo, waving a greeting and offering forth a smile to the lady who were at the desk today while Zarri hurried alongside her that the pair made their way to a room that they had previously requested the use of. It took little time for them to locate andand entre the room intended for them before Layla were to shut them in. And even then it took Zarri little time to begin, a loud chirping cry erupting forth from the little fire type as she were to begin her charge towards one of the training dummies and began scratching at the larger 'being' in something of an aggressive manner before jumping back. it were here that the small Torchic were to take a few seconds to look about her at the other dummies that were scattered around her before seeming to stratigically hit the other in such a way that if they had otherwise been real would have caused some serious harm..
"That's it Zarri; your doing well keep at it." Layla called in a reassuring and encouraging way as she continued to observe the little Torchic's tactics all the while stepping around the little training ring to more easily observe the little fire chick and - where needed - call out any instructions or useful words that could help.

Strange how some days when she were to come to visit the Dojo Layla would be torn between her pokemon - more so now that she had several to choose from - when it came to deciding upon who she would get to do some training done with while she were here. Especially when she truly did wish to get them all prepared for such a time when she would need them to be in near peak condition should the occasion rise where she would be unable to fully aid them in any way. But surprisingly today Layla were indeed determined to get some work done with Spearow and just as surprisingly she did have some form of plan in mind for what they would be doing during their time here.
So after having arrived and spoken to the receptionist did both ranger and small bird make their way to the room that Layla had chosen for todays session, only when they entered did Spearow seem to become puzzled at the mere sight of the weights that were scattered around the room only to look back upon the silvery haired ranger for a time in puzzlement. "Yes Spearow, doing some weight training today - come on lets see what you can do." Layla spoke encouragingly as she nodded as to confirm what the small bird had already assumed, so with a little nod of his own did Spearow get to work making an attempt at lifting the weights as much and as long as were able to.

SO today were in no way going to be a typical trip to the dojo or a typical training session either, for today Layla had chosen to bring Tiko to this large building for a little one on one training. Especially given the very fact that he were to be somewhat worried about the whole idea of battling so to come to a 'safe' place such as this and do some work with him seemed like the better idea.
With that had the silvery haired ranger had gently held onto the small Riolu's hand and gently guided him into the large building as Tiko in turn allowed his intrigued gaze to wander in a mildly curious yet uncertain manner as he were guided to the room in which the pair were to be using. The room in question were filled with punch bags and various other equipment but for the moment the pair headed to one of the punch bags, Layla releasing her grasp upon the small Riolu's hand and position him one side of the bag while putting herself the other side and ensuring it were not to move while they trained. "Alright Tiko, we'll go slowly at first alright? Hit this as hard or soft as you like, in a steady way - take as long as you need." Layla instructed gently and kindly, receiving in turn a simple nod of understanding before doing as requested. Starting off slowly but as time wore on the Riolu were to find his rhythm and begin striking the bag with more regularity and increasing force.
