POSITIVE TRAITS: • Loyal; to a fault in many cases. APPEARANCE
At 6'3" Akira will never be fully able to simply be able to hide away easily within a crowd, especially if he is one of the taller people out of that particular group. Though aside from his height to define him Akira has black hair that - when straightened - would reach down to halfway between his ears and shoulders, but he always keeps it in a spiked up hairstyle. His eyes are a deep shade of emerald green, which against his slightly tanned complexion does tend to stand out a little most notably when he makes the effort in which to keep his attention upon others when speaking to them.
Though as a result of his height Akira is a generally slim individual he is not excessively so, though for the most part he wears slightly lose fitting cloths he does make some effort to keep himself in shape. Akira prefers wearing dark jeans, a shirt of some kind along with a jacket and trainers.
However it is a couple of things beneath the surface that is most noticeable even if rarely seen, a small ying yang tattoo upon his left wrist - though rather than the typical design it rather is two Dratini (one black, one white) circling each other. He also bears some scars upon his body that are as a result of an incident in his younger years, though mostly faded they are still as clear as the day they were made.
(Note; Akira is loosely based upon Zack Fair from Final Fantasy, though the character is my own the pic is not.)
HISTORY
Having spent nearly all his younger life within the city best known as being the home for all things Dragon pokemon related, if there was one thing in which Akira had learnt from a young age was to gain an appreciation for these 'mythical' beings. Though it were only as he got older and nearer to the time in which many would leave upon to travel that he got himself into the trouble that would have an effect upon him throughout his life . . . .
Having made - and succeeding - in many attempts to break into the often guarded Dragon's Den on the last occasion in which he managed this did something more than a simple reprimand occur.
Long story short Akira disturbed a gathering of wild Dragon pokemon which had come to this place, being unaware of this did he enter and almost get himself attacked had it not been for the intervention of both Blackthorn gym leader and her johto elite four equivalent. It were just unfortunate that Lance were Akira's cousin therefore causing more trouble for the then young boy.
As a result of the trouble he had caused Akira were forced to leave his childhood home and begin traveling around firstly Johto then in turn all the other regions Which in turn meant he spent many years as a trainer before at eighteen he returned back home to Blackthorn and past events were for the most part forgiven though not forgotten.
Which turned out for the best in the end as not only was this when Akira received the Sneasel that now keeps him company but after having made a brief trip back over to Hoenn in order to meet up with a mutual friend did his interest in contests begin. After all in his mind it would simply be another challenge for him to try which was what brought him to Shula for it would be the fresh start in a new place in which he needed.
