It took a lot of begging and fight with her human to get off the comfy couch and get geared up to go outside in the bitter cold to get some special training in. It has been sometime since her last battle, and Kuvira has been itching to fight someone. And after poking at her human for several hours while she was trying to enjoy a movie by the fireplace, she finally got her to go out and even already picked one of her own fellow pack mates to battle against.

After moving to her side of their pretend battle and eyeing up her foe, she called out for her pack mate to get ready. Sasori, the shulian starly, let out a heavy sigh but nodded. The darn bird dog thing has been show boating her win against a canine for the past several weeks now. It was time to shut her up for good. Of course Ziryan, had to watch. A quick count down from Genesis who shivered in her boots, the battle began.

The shulian rockruff had a bit more battle expression than her fly foe, though much more. The two exchange several blows, Kuvira calling the shulian starly out every time she would fly instead of keeping on the ground. To be far though, it was part of her body. In the end, the shulian rockruff was the victory and knocked Sasori down a peg or two. Kuvira panting from the battle. A good workout while Genesis fled to the indoors once more.

Instead of winging it, the breeder asked one of her canine’s to help train the little baby dragon. The shulian growlithe didn’t seem pleased, but did as she asked. Genesis moved in position behind the dragon, offering Kuruk a small smile and a nod to show they were ready. And just like that, the practice battle began.

Of course, the breeder asked her canine to take it easy on the baby. She was still a hatchling after all. A weak water gun came barreling towards them, calling for Naiad to dodge the water. She slithered to the side just in time, only to act on her own accord and send a thunder wave towards her friendly foe.

Kuruk was stunned for a moment, allowing the status move to trap him into paralyzation. Genesis blinked, unsure of what to say. Luckily, the dragon was wise for her years. Her body took a purple blue glow, rushing forward in surprising speed to crash into the canine with a dragon rush. Kuruk, unable to move, was knocked out cold. Again, the breeder didn’t know what to say.

The breeder was buzzing with excitement of how well her business was doing after such a harsh winter season. And with several new pokemon eggs under his wing, the breeder almost decided to skip this weeks training session in favor of caring for the newly acquired eggs. Stryker however, wasn’t about to let that happen.

The little electric pup let out a series of yips, stubby tail wagged feverishly back and forth. Genesis smiled, adjusting the last bit of the agility course she had memorized now for her younger pack members. And as soon as Stryker noticed this, little feet pushed him swiftly to the starting platform. He leaped onto it, nearly missing it and falling. Genesis stifled a laugh, moving to the platform with him and pulling out her stop watch. The yamper was ready, wanting to get stronger for the sake of the packs well being. He was so eager to fit in, the canine wanted to prove himself.

Genesis counted down, shouting go as soon as her finger pressed the button. The pair darted off, tackling each obstacle one by one. The poles and tunnels were easy for the little canine. The jumping poles, a frame, and even the balance beam were difficult for him. And after running the course, the puppy was panting hard. Despite this exhausting, Stryker wanted to do again. He moved to the starting platform again, letting out another series of barks to get his human to came back for another round. The breeder let out a soft chuckle and shook her head, but agreed.

With Ryoko showing off how strong he was, it got Osiris wanting to prove himself he is strong as well. He has been begging for more training time. And after weeks on end of begging, it finally happened. The canine was thrilled for the chance to prove himself, flexing his muscles and stretching as the breeder ready the dojo for the riolu.

Standing behind a punching bag and bracing herself behind it, the woman gave the lucario firm nod. The fighting and steel type rose a brow, unsure if she could handle his punch. She grinned, giving him another nod. Determination in his face, the canine draw his arm back and thrusted his fist into the bag. It barely moved, the human grunting when the blow hit. Green orbs flickered to the canine, nodding again.

For the next several hours, the lucario continued to punch the bag with all his might. One after another, he was sure each hit was a solid one. Soon, his muscles started to hurt and his fist was sore. His muzzle parted, panting from exhaustion while his human moved out from behind the bag. She grinned, huffing and puffing herself. Hopefully, this will help his punches hit harder.

A chill ran down the woman’s spine, though she tried to hide it the best she could from the shiny trapinch. It couldn’t be helped though. There was something about bugs that gave her creeps. And despite Rivah not being of the bug type per say, she still looked buggy to the raven haired woman. It’s not her fault though. And with that in mind, the breeder sucked it up and told herself to deal with it. The shiny trapinch was still her pokemon darn it.

Genesis spent the day setting up a smaller agility course for the little creature. Removing things like the jump poles and the teeter tooter out of fear, Rivah would get hurt. And after the course was full set up, green orbs shifted to the shiny pokemon who glared at her. Weirdly if you asked Genesis. The woman flinched, taking a slight step back from to put some space between them. “Hey Rivah,” she greet, a light choppy fake chuckle escaped her, “Ready to start?” The bug eyed her, moving to the platform. Even the way it moved creeped her out. This was going to be a long day.

Following after the creature, Genesis stood (a few feet away) by the platform with her. She began to explain the course, finger hovered over the button in preparation for the training to start. Rivah leaped into action, crawling towards the first obstacle. A heavy sigh escaped her, finger pressed the starting button and gave chase. Rivah ran up the bridge, crawling across it and coming down with no issue. Next, darted through the tunnel and came out the other end. So far, so good. She came to the poles, her head too big for the tiny gaps. That didn’t stop her though. Once forcing her way in and out of the poles, she made her way to the a frame. And by some miracle, she went up and over. Genesis was shocked. And soon enough, the course was completed. The breeder nodded, impressed by her time.

With Memphis training going surprisingly well, the breeder had high hopes for the next canine up. Ashiya was yet another offspring of Evo and Kirala, even from the same litter as the hisuian growlithe. What made this canine good, was she took on the shulian form of a rockruff much like her aunt Kuvira. And despite the growlithe and rockruff having two litters already, this was the first time the pair have given a shulian rockruff as an offspring. Genesis had to hold onto her, this little was truly a special one.

Much like at the dojo, Genesis set up an agility course for the new pup. Although her equipment was more worn down sense it was in the elements all the time, it should still provide enough for the canine. And much like with Memphis and many other canines, this was not only a good training session but give her the chance to see the Pokemon’s personality too. Ashiya seems to have picked up some good traits as well, which was promising for the trainer.

“Alright Ashiya,” the woman called out, the young shulian rockruff turning her attention to her human, “You are up.” Genesis explained the coursed and soon they were off. Though the tunnel, a scary obstacle for many young pups in training. Ashiya was’t afraid. That’s good. It showed her she had no fear for the unknown, good for battling but not so much when it came to adventuring. Next, the a frame. Again, no fear and even was quick to see she needed to slow down on the other side. Yes. A great sense of judgement. The poles were a breeze, being light on her feet and not as bulky as her litter mate. The jumping poles easy as well. Even the balance beam, the steel type understood what was needed to be done and achieved it without much help. This litter was amazing! And back to the platform, where the humans stopped the stopwatch. Over all, very good start for her. A+.

Despite being a canine like fanatic when it game to pokemon, there was something marvelous about a dratini. And although it wasn’t her specialty, the breeder wouldn’t help but spend ever last dollar she had to get one. Even now, green orbs observed the little snake dragon with eyes filled with wonder. There was one problem though. Genesis wasn’t sure how to train a dragon. It didn’t have legs like her canines.

Much like before, the breeder spent most of her morning setting up an agile course specifically designed to aid in said pokemon for future battles. Today’s agility course was actually more hard core than the typical recently hatched pokemon course. Despite Azula’s young age, the houndour seemed more developed in the sense of awareness and ability to function. With all this in mind and her rather aggressive behavior, Genesis put in the extra effort to wear her down.

It was only when Genesis felt like she was done did she turn to the houndour. Surprisingly enough, the female pup was napping in the corner. Smiling, the woman called to her and motioned to follow her to the starting platform. “Azula. Its time to train. Come on.” The hounder’s eyes shot open, a low grumble of a growl escaped her as she rose to her feet. A good stretch was next, trotting over to the human.

“Okay. We are going to run this course twice. Once than reverse it. Got it.” Azula let out a snort, finding this course too easy. The breeder shouted go, running by the houndour’s side as she guided her through course. Time will only tell if this would be enough. Either way, the breeder knew it would get her energy out for the day and she will leave her fellow pack mates alone.
