It was time. Lars honestly had been putting off trying to train the newer of several pokemon on his team because while he adored the pokemon's final form, its current was underwhelming and he knew that it was going to take so much time and effort to get it from this small little thing with tiny wings which barely worked and anger issues and turn it in to the intimidating dragon that his church wanted.

All the same, he had agreed to this and he was not going to let the leaders down. Besides, now he had a point to prove on top of all that so he was even more determined. As such he had the small pokemon currently on the top of his home, outside in the breeze that blew over the top of the sky scraper, and he was sitting with a warm cup of very strong coffee in hand. The dragon type was doing simple working, lifting weight with each hand and then trying to keep his balance where his trained had tied a weight to his back too, but it was effective work based on the huffing and puffing sounds coming from the little blue thing.

He had a new project. This pokemon was nothing too special, honestly it was a pokemon he considered generic and common and really more of something to find in an alley and chase away because it was dirty and nasty or to battle for the experince it would offer in training his own pokemon but there was something about this one. The dark type had caught the eye of another of his team and while she was not exactly a lot to look at, there was a fire there he liked.

She was cunning, she was smart, and she knew how to survive and was going to do whatever she needed to do in order to do that. As such, the canine was a little confused in being trained in the home of the team rocket member but she was quick to adapt, finding a whole series of dark corners and hidden nooks even the blonde had not know about until he wandered past and found the poochyena diving from said hiding place with sparks around her fangs before she ran off to disappear elsewhere. This was not going to be an easy pokemon, but then again, Lar's never enjoyed easy.

It seemed Starlight was too busy today to spend time with her own trainer, lars impressed that his church had asked to use the pokemon and her story for their own displays but annoyed that he was going to be unable to train her for the day. Considering his kitten was as trained as she was going to get too, well she was asleep downstairs on the sofa in front of the fire and she was out cold for the evening, lars needed another choice.

Tisko made no sense, the male was evolved and strong enough to handle himself which meant training wasnt needed, though battles were fun. Kossix was in need of training, but Xerneas knew he could be hard work to keep correcting and Lars knew that Adaro was not the type to train in the way that the home they had offered. Which left beast, the pokemon currently running laps around the top of the penthouse. He was unable to fly with his small wings but they could glide, meaning the pokemon could hop on to chairs and tables and then flick out the stubs of wings to glide over gaps and spaces before he took off running again, trying to move as fast as he could.
