The female watched the trainer closely, a comment about needing to act more like a a man ready in her mouth but then he moved, bending down and reaching out to her and she scoffed. "So strings?" she got out before he held out the berry, the female looking it over and actually being forced to pause so long she had to listened to him as he kept going.

He just kept talking and a couple of times she was ready to cut in, she liked baths and getting washed but it was always so weird with the fountains always having so many people around them and the cold water! And she liked good food, only, her gang had to keep fighting to keep those bins in their territory, he was assuming a lot!

All the same, that damn listening kept coming up and she huffed, lifting the berry to her mouth to fill it to keep herself from snapping back until he was done. At his final words, mouth still full, she nodded to the male, through rolled her eyes for good measure. All the while, her tail betrayed her from behind, wagging at a speed she would have been embarrassed about had she known.

Colton grinned, amber eyes soft and warm as the wild stuffel seemed to have agreed to all that he asked. And honestly, he was surprised that she didn’t say much of anything else. Perhaps, that somewhat squashed oran berry was too good to pass up.

Whatever the case may be, she was compliant to his series of request and gave him a nod in agreement. With her permission, the large muscular man re-tightened his grip on the ball and reached out with it. He pressed the button to activate it, gingerly tapped it on her forehead. A beam of light encase the wild pokemon frame, pulling into it. If she didn’t resist, it would suck her in and close behind it.

And once it did, Colton stood up from where he was and left to wiggle in the palm of his head. Goku leaped onto his shoulder, both pair of eyes on the sphere to see if they really just gained another team member or was this whole thing a joke.

The human took out the ball, she knew that damned well. So many trainers passed by her in the city, pokeballs in hand and pokemon popping in and out of them all over the place. She had no idea what it was like inside one, but then again, she couldnt keep walking around like this forever.

Swallowing her meal, and a nervous breath, as the ball came close to her, the female went very still. She didnt even notice she was holding a breath until it was in her chest and beginning to burn as the ball tapped her, the light wrapping around her and feeling oddly warm. In the next moment, the world was dark and she felt it around her, small suddenly and as she flexed out her paws on reflex, the pokeball shook.

No, it was just dark. She'd spent plently of time in the dark, she could handle this. She'd been stuck plently of places too, and broken out of those or just waited for the gang to help her when they found her. This was her new gang, really, so they'd do the same. Letting out that burning breath, the female closed her eyes, and with that, the pokeball clicked shut.

The sphere wiggled once in the palm of his hand. Colton still shocked that this once stubborn as hell stufful actually wanted to join up with him. Another shake. Though, finding this other stufful she was looking for was going take some time. Third time the charm. If anything, he’ll have to bring her out every time he came across one. Not a bad thing, but something he would have to keep in mind. The chimed of a successful rang out, a smirk tugging the edge of his lips. But hey, a capture is a capture. Right?

Amber gaze shift to his fire type starter, giving him a pleased nod. “Looks like we have another on the team.” Goku wasn’t really sure how he felt about this new addition. She seemed like trouble, but who was he to say another than okay. “I wonder how Nezu will react to his own kind.” “Good point. Maybe when he reach the next town, we’ll introduce them to each other.” Both of the boys gave each other a worried look, knowing full well that it was probably going to be a disaster. But, that’s for them to handle in the near future. For now, it’s time to keep looking.

Large hands driven by muscular shoulders came together in a loud clap, Colton, literally, shaking it off before his arms rose at a ninety degree angle to flex his muscles. The action nearly knocking the chimchar off his shoulder. “Let’s keep looking Goku.” The chimchar nodded to him, beady eyes scanned the surrounding area while the human continued his treacherous hike through the deadfall cliffs.

He could hear something. It was too big to be another bug, that much he could make out but as the male skittered across the grasslands, he moved with the speed of a pokemon who had a purpose, and a curious mind to boot. He did his best to keep a high pace, the sounds of something.

As he drew closer to the cliffs, there was less for him to fall on, less to trip over but there was a lot more wind too. The male was forced to slow down, losing a lot of the pace he had been working on which annoyed him but he kept going, his smaller steps soon bringing him across a shape far too thin and tall to be anything other than a human. As he hurried, bubbles appeared within his out as he let out a series of breaths, eyes narrowed in and focused on the humans back.

The pair trek through the treacherous terrain that was deadfall cliffs. Although the large muscular man was the one doing all the heavy lifting (even if it was mostly his own weight), the human strange movements forced the chimchar to hold on for dear life as he continued to scout from his human’s shoulder. “Hold on Goku,” the man called out, smiling ear to ear as he prepared to climb the side of the small cliff. Goku nodded, bracing.

Thick muscular arms bulged and flexed under pressure, large hands extended out to grab onto the small cliffs edge. And with a good pull, Colton pulled himself up on top of the rocky cliff side to another tier. A bead of sweat rolled down the side of his face, shifting to get up right on the flat ground. “WOOOO!!” The man shouted in both thrill and exhaustion, his voice echoed though quickly got drowned out by the raging rivers between and forest that claimed the area around them. “This is why we need to keep training. You never know what you’ll be up against.” Goku jumped up and down on his shoulder, fueled by his trainer’s adrenaline.

But just as the pair was about to continue further through the deadcliffs, the chimchar suddenly had the sensation that they were being watched. His thrill simmered, gaze swept the area around them. However, there was nothing to note. Puzzled, the chimchar shifted his body to look behind them. His eyes narrowed, taking a long moment to register what was behind them. A bubble. A floating bubble? How strange. “Is that normal?” Goku asked, unsure if something like that was normal in the wild.

“Is that normal?” The man responded, still amped up from his climb to take him seriously. The tall and bulky human twisted to see what his starter was talking about, amber gaze fell upon the floating bubble as well. “Oh,” he retorted, fully shifting to face this wild pokemon, “I think it’s a pokemon. Can’t remember off the top of my head what its name was, but I believe it’s a bug and water type. That bubble is around its head.” The chimchar’s eyes widened, nodding in understanding then leaped off his shoulder to move a little closer. “I want to see.” “Don’t get too close-!”

The bug type paused in his movements as he took in the shape of the human, thinking to himself for a few seconds as the overhead sun bounced off the bubble around his head and warmed him as he waited. Did he really want to do this? Get involved with a human?

Ok, so he needed to weigh this out. On one claw, a human was a good way to train no matter what happened, they had pokemon too which tended to fight differently to wild pokemon giving him a few ways to learn to change his battling methods and moves. They also could catch pokemon, and becoming a trainer pokemon would mean a lot more battles, a lot more training, and probably evolution.

The male began to pace back and forth as he thought, or rather, each leg would reach out, strike the ground and move himself forwards before they shifted and moved back in the same order, bubbles rising within his own bubble as he zoned out to think. Equally, a human as a trainer meant he would have to leave home, leave the swarm. He had never been without it before, and didnt know much about the wider world.

It also meant a lot of new places he didnt know to travel to, a chance to learn, but also maybe not as good as home. Chattering these thoughts to himself, the small male seemed to pace back and forth for a while, thinking to himself.

The wild pokemon seemed to be lost within its own thoughts, pacing or shifting back and forth maybe out of a habit. And for the most part, seemed to have forgotten about them or was took distracted to noticed the fire type approach.

The chimchar heeded his human’s words of caution and moved cautiously closer, fascinated by the bubble that was over its head (on its head? Is its head?). Goku wanted to know! Also. If he touched it, did it pop?

“Goku,” the thick man warned in a low tone, unsure what was going on as he was pretty sure these types were known to be rather aggressive. Or at least, they type to attack first and question later. “Be careful.”

“Hello?” Goku greeted, careful not to get too close, “Is that your head or like, a water tank thing so you can breath?”

The bug type was moving quicker and quicker the more it thought, the different choices bouncing through its minds as it moved before a voice drifted to it and the pokemon stopped so suddenly his head rocked forwards and almost touched the ground before he turned around to face the voice and found himself with a pair of being in front of him.

Oh, darn it, he'd done it again.

Rocking his head up again, the pokemon stood up tall and he looked over to the other pokemon before it spoke and he found himself pondering. What did happen if his bubble leaked all the way out, he knew his father would not allow it to happen and encouraged all of their swarm to keep hydrated to keep them full. "Sort, i breath within it, i guess it makes me breath" the pokemon thought out loud, "Ive always been inside it, so i guess i dont know" he admitted after a few more seconds.

As soon as Goku spoke, it seemed to have snapped the wild pokemon out of whatever daze it was in. In fact, its head nearly came off which caught the chimchar by surprised. He even attempted to catch the ball, though the wild pokemon was able to fix himself without much effort. As such, Goku let out a sigh of relief.

Though, it was interesting what the wild pokemon had to say. He couldn’t imagine what it would be like being forced to carry a bubble of water around his head all the time. Yet, it was probably second nature to the pokemon like it was for him to have his flames always burning. “Oh! So it’s… kinda like the air we breathe… but smaller and in bubble form?” Goku turned half way to his trainer, explaining the other side the conversation and seeking a positive response from the human. Colton shrugged his shoulders casually and nodded, large hands retreated into his pockets. “Sure. Seems about right.”

With that now a fact, Goku turned back to the strange wild pokemon. “Do you live here too? We ran into another pokemon not that long ago who was traveling through here looking for someone. Are you looking for someone too?” Goku was the curious adventure type, always wanted to see what’s out there and had a billions of questions. Hopefully, the wild pokemon didn’t mind. Of course, Colton just stood casually behind him letting them talk.

The pokemon pondered Goku's words as he spoke, then turned back to the human and spoke the same thing to it. So it was one of these, unable to speak to them but had a team which seemed to do it without prompting, that had to mean there was a bond here between the duo which what at the least, civil. "I guess so, i mean why do you walk down on 4 limbs that way, surely three is better for speed and an ability to turn" the pokemon commented, nodding to the paws of the fire type as he spoke.

"I do, well, nearby. I was scolded again, i was on watch and "zoned out" as my swarm leader puts it. Now i have a few days off the rota, i thought i might just, leave the swarm for a time" the pokemon explained, looking over the fire type as it spoke. A lot of pokemon were looking for something, lost mates, children or even others of their close ones who had wandered off. It wasnt much to go on, but then again, they didnt seem to be asking for help. One claw under the pokemon reached out, the male about to begin to pace again as he moved between thoughts before he seemed to notice this time, slowly lowering his leg again.

The chimchar listened to what the strange bug and water type had to say, finding his theory of running on three legs superior than four very bizarre. “How is three fast than four? Four is more power,” Goku replied, shifting his weight so he could stand on his hind legs, “And I can stand on two or four. Four is just more comfortable than two for me.” This pokemon is strange. Where all pokemon not form the lab strange?

Again, the chimchar listened truly intrigued by what the wild had to say. As mentioned many times before, he was born and raised by humans. Living in the wild was exotic from him. And as such, it mad him woneder how much his life would be different if he had been born wild. “Oh. Sorry to hear that. I’m sure your swarm only means to do whats best for you. I heard the wilds can be very dangerous if not careful.” Goku turned to his human, whom nodded and kept silent, before turning back to the wild pokemon.

“We are out here looking for more friends to add to our team. Fighting types is what the humans call it. Do you know of any more fighting types around here?”

The bug chittered out a laugh as the other pokemon spoke, returning its comment with a question so the bug raised one leg and sort of waved it in the air for a few seconds before it began to rock forward and had to place it down again. "Power yes, but that means your turns have more power too. That means falling, stumbling, things of those natures. I do not have these issues, pivoting losses much less speed" the pokemon explained, grinning inside its bubble. Seemingly, this was a topic it enjoyed.

It nodded, or rocked back and forth in place at the pokemons next words, though its face seemed confused as it listened. "Indeed, i know being in my own world as it were can put the others on the front lines and there are so many flying types out here. Bug types who have the world a little harder" the pokemon commented, eyes moving over the form of the fire type as it went on.

"Fighting? All pokemon out here fight, some more than others and over all sorts of things from lands to space to food and even the color of their eyes. Travel a little further for the forest and you might some rational minds, but all pokemon fight" the pokemon answered to the question offered, seemingly, not quite understanding the chimchars meaning.

The chimchar observed the wild pokemon as it attempted to stand on two legs, like him. Yet, it wobbled in place and ultimately had to returned to its three legged stance in order to… well- stand. It claimed that three legs was still superior though Goku still didn’t see it. And as for falling or stumbling, surely if he wanted to trip the pokemon- he could. Right? Hmmmm… It might have a point.

But on the topic of fighting types, even the chimchar was unable to probably tell the wild pokemon what his human was looking for. It wasn’t like fire, water, or even dark elements. Fire had well, hot stuff to shoot or burn. Water, a liquid. Even dark had a way, in theory, to let others know what it was. But fighting, there was no way to really tell what it was. As such, he turned to Colt again in hopes the human could better explain.

Colton smile broadened, this was his time to shine! “As you’re well aware” the man started, kneeling next to his chimchar “pokemon have what we call elements or types. Goku can breathe fire. You” he pointed to the bug “can probably summon water even away from a water source. Fighting types have typically enhanced physical strength.” Despite him not being a pokemon and his ‘strength’ doesn’t matter, this didn’t stop the man from flexing his own muscles. Arms shot up in ninety degree angles, force flexing his arm to show off his muscular build before he continued. “Some fighting types display this by punching, kicking, or even throwing a sphere full of power at another. Have you came across any of these types of pokemon? Pokemon who use their physical body to fight instead of nature or elements.”

The bug type looked to the human as it spoke, seemingly quite happy with this topic itself and he couldnt help but smile inside his bubble as he knew how he could get going on the topic of speed and racing and it was a little nice to see others begin to get excited on their own passions.

"Indeed, you are correct, but i wouldnt know the different to be honest. We have pokemon who pass through here, rock like little things who can throw each other long ways but i suspect thats not what you mean" the pokemon replied at first, pausing to think to himself as he went quiet for a moment.

"I think not, my concerns are normally pokemon with wings who which to lunch on my own kind or others in the swarm of pokemon who have many legs and so a speed to them. I know there is a racer back across the cliffs, shes quite skilled, but again, i imagine this is not what you want" the pokemon concluded after a long pause, his head lifting a little as he looked across the cliffside.
