Feral | Now darlin', you'll do it my way or you won't do it at all | Flinthart - "Filli" ~ Bagon Small, shiny and savage | What on earth had she been playing at?
Feral sat perched on a rock, looking down below her a few feet as she watched her dragon types, both huge green females with a shine to their scales which seemed off to her but beautiful in its display of power. They slammed in to one and other again and again, claws bouncing off reinforced skull and head slamming in to hardened chest scales.
Feral knew they were making a noise, she knew someone was going to happen over them and she had her tail tucked away, paws covered and ears pressed in to her hair for it. To be honest, she was banking on it now. She was so aware that she had dragons, frigging dragons for arceus's sake! Why on earth had she agreed to train these, to evolve them, it was going to be so much effort and for what?
As she watched Filli again slam in to Mira, not staggering back this time but grunting and pushing forwards, a smug voice spoke to her. For this reason, because one day she'd have two dragons, both shinies, both females, and both feared within Team Rocket and beyond. Ok, good reason, but all the same, now she needed some idiot to hear them passing and come asking questions for the naive Juliet to find a training buddy. |

Shame on him for thinking Midna and Valdis might like a change of pace. All four creatures making up Susanna’s current party were pretty miserable at the moment. To start the complaints, there was Sue himself. He was very tired from keeping the peace between his canine pokemon. He thought that with Adeen and Eugene’s background, everyone would get along nicely as a pack. Not so! Only poor Adeen seemed to be putting in any effort. That led into the issues with Midna and Valdis. Midna wanted next to nothing to do with any of the other pups. She only tolerated Adeen as long as Brock was around to practice their singing with and nipped at Eugene! Currently, she was being followed by Valdis, who had some preoccupation with their matching appearances.
Still, he had to hope they might warm up to each other, even if Midna whirled around to snap at him and he warned her off from actually starting a battle with a huff of fire. He’d have to put one of them away if it escalated and he was trying very hard to win Valdis over.
That left Koda’s misery. The woobat was just as used to city life as Susanna was. Though the man had tied his hoodie around his waist to give his skin a chance to sweat properly after the party’s long jog, Koda was used to having another handy perch nearby in a gym. Or, failing that, Susanna going straight home! Now, he was going to have to sit for the very first time for a prolonged period on the pale haired man’s sweaty shoulder!
So, yes. Everyone was very nearly at their wits end, except Valdis, who was very amused with everyone’s misery.
That was when the CRACK-CRACK-CRACK of… something finally pushed even Valdis into gnashing his teeth. The fun was over! He could no longer ignore that noise! Huffing, he marched over to the sound. That led Sue to follow and the rest of the party as well. Upon spotting the dragons, the houndour’s head tilted.
Whatever. Figuring out who they were mattered way, way less than making that racket stop.
“WILL YOU KNOCK THAT OFF?!” the dark type barked.
Not yet able to fully understand the houndour, but piecing together what the barks meant due to having a few others similar on his team, Susanna couldn’t bring himself to properly chide the dark type. “That’s not a nice way to greet someone,” he said, instead, looking over to the other trainer and her pokemon and ignoring the way Valdis definitely said "bite me" or something similar. “Sorry. We’re all tired.”
Well, he was. Midna was just irritated if the way she kept glaring at the back of Valdis’s head was any indication.
