APPEARANCE
Often affectionately called Sue, Susanna is a cis man standing at just five feet and eight inches tall. Though it is difficult to tell with his penchant for heavy jackets and baggy shirts, he is rather slender with lean muscle. There's no significant bulk; just wiry muscle and some lingering hints of his bony youth.
There is a certain boyish or even feminine look to his face. His eyelashes are incredibly thick and long. Despite this almost angelic appearance, there are moments when he has a crude, animalistic air about him.
He’s also got a few scars, but he tends to laugh them off and insist the other guy had it way worse. That’s not a joke, but other people don’t need to know that.
Despite the casual clothes he’s often seen in, nearly everything Sue wears is ironed and crisp. His shoes are clean and polished, too. He loves fur and other organic fabrics. Nearly nothing he owns is synthetic.

HISTORY
cw neglect, abuse of authority, stalking
Susanna’s earliest memories are of missing his mother’s rice pudding and wondering if his parents really neglected him. That, he was told, was the reason he was taken away from them. Considering that they never came for him, Susanna came to resent this fact for most of his life.
Growing up in state custody and foster homes, Susanna found it difficult to settle into new family. He had lingering pain from his presumed abandonment and anxieties about being left again. In the end, the only real security he found was the first pokemon he ever caught: his woobat.
His pokemon couldn’t leave him. He loved the creature for it. He spoiled his precious Koda rotten. For the sake of providing a good life to his new starter, Sue looked into ways to gain early independence. At the age of fifteen, Sue forged paperwork and snuck in the police academy.
He was found out about a month in, naturally, but the fact he managed that little stunt at all caught the eye of senior officers. It would be illegal to allow the boy to continue studying… But, they could brush the incident under the rug as an excitable boy doing his math wrong and a clerical mishap.
They kept an eye on Sue and accepted him properly when he turned sixteen. He was immediately pulled into the special tactics training division. He was an ideal candidate: desperate to belong, physically fit, and a problem solver. When he graduated, most of his assignments were not in Shula itself. Rather, he was assigned to investigate persons of interest and other such matters the Shulan government was interested in.
All was well for a time. Or, at least, well for Sue. There were lives made much more difficult by his service to his region, but the problems for him began the first time he fell in love. She was a wonderful woman; funny, smart, and cute to boot. But, she was just on vacation and he didn’t want to lose her to the mistake of meeting at an airport.
(“Love at first sight,” was in fact something uttered in his defense at his trial.)
So, he used his resources as a special officer to look in on her. He was excited to meet her again. She was terrified. That was fine! He could soothe her, win her over, she just had to understand, had to stay, he loved her, and if she left him, he would—
It was resolved quietly. She was compensated enough to start her life elsewhere. His transgressions were handled internally. They couldn’t turn on one of their own, after all. Susanna was sad to leave his life as an officer behind and drifted for a while.
Despite how chaotic things had become in Shula, it was home. And, now he was without a purpose, so he roamed it on his savings. In the end, he visited the city he was born in and discovered what became of his parents. Stress put his father in an early grave. His mother was struggling on her own when he reunited with her.
Their relationship remains rocky, but Sue likes to visit to see what art she’s made. Besides, it’s given him a new motivation! He has to provide for the family he’s got left, so why not look into coordinating? Showing off dear ole Koda the woobat wouldn’t hurt either!
