Here in Shula we rely heavily on the honor system. The staff wont constantly be looking over your shoulder but we expect you to follow the rules nonetheless.
Pokéballs: Due to new rule changes, these can be bought from the new shop
Held Items: You're allowed to give any held items to your Pokémon. However you CAN'T give them any held items that will trigger an evolution. However, you can give an evolution item to a Pokémon that doesn't evolve with it. So you could give an Empoleon a Metal Coat since the Metal Coat boosts steel-type moves, but you can't give your Onix a Metal Coat wanting to trigger an evolution. Then the Item must be bought. You can buy them from this shop.
Healing Items: Due to new rule changes, these can be bought from the new shop However you may only use 1 healing item per Pokémon per battle.
Evolution Items: Any item that trigger an evolution must be bought from this shop or will be handed out in an event.
Berries: Berries are free once you have found them. To find a berry, a mod will give them to wild pokemon you may encounter
Key Items: Most Key Items are free too. You're allowed to have a Bike, Fishing rod and pretty much all of the items that can have some kind of use on this Site. Some must be bought however, so check if the item you want is in the shop before putting it in your PC.
Battle Items: Due to new rule changes, these can be bought from the new shop
Breeding Items: Alvin at the Ditto Shack will provide you with any eventual breeding items.
Also, in Shula we don't use regular money, like Pokédollars. Instead we use Tokens for all services. Buying TMs and HMs, Breeding rare Pokémon and all other purchases will be paid for with tokens, even between members. Tokens are nothing special; they kind of works like OOC money. You will earn 25 tokens for each post made in an IC forum.
Well, you can use 'real' money for role playing purposes. Maybe you want your character to buy a bag of chips or whatnot- we're not going to stop you. Please note that you can't buy anything from the new shop or this shop with this money. You don't have to count and keep track of your characters money in your PC either.
