Pretty much as the title suggests, ever used a good location during a thread and wished there were actually a place like that situated within a particular board? Well while we may not exactly be realistically be able to create every single idea into an actual board the next best thing would be to have a collective place to keep the idea's safe for everyone to be able to refer to if in need of idea's of where to situate a thread and have a tough time with coming up with one. This also means those who have been to an area before and/or fleshed it out, add your locations here so others can flesh them out more or maybe just RP there and enjoy them.

If ever you are happy with adding to the list just throw in your idea's that you have happened to use and are willing to have other people refer to them in future threads.

Existing Locales

The Plaza - A 3 storey hotel in the middle of Oasis City, well known for having a very grand reception and gym on the bottom floor however it seems to both never have spaces and always be full. (Those in TR, anyone who doesnt live directly in the lab is roomed in this hotel). It is run by an elderly man who seems to be terrified of those living in his establishment. - Submitted by Feral

Unknown name - A Small family run cafe in Seabreeze Village. Known to be very small in size, very popular in the Village. Currently Owned by the grandfather and run by his teenage daughter and son (10+) - Submitted by Nix Night

Unknown name - A very busy but small(ish) Ice cream palour in Oasis City, known to be large enough to fit "a few groups of children" but not very large in size. Owner is unknown, though its apparent they either work with or for, or are scared of team rocket - Submitted by Milarnie Colt

Unknown name - A narrow teashop in Glacierpeak City, known to have 2 floors but only tables big enough for 2 on the second floor and booths on the first. Various Teapots decorate the walls and it seems to be a popular couple haunt. Owners and other worker unknown.  - Submitted by Akira "Raine" Kaitos

Sensational Smoothies - Just off the docks of Seabreeze Village there is a young trainer who runs a smoothie stall to gain pocket money, she seems to have a flying type and buy type working for her but neither have been met. Her age and name are unknown, but she is old enough to train pokemon but still in school and so doing this before and after lessons as well as on weekends. - Submitted by Hallie Narina

Redshore Game Corner - The main casino in Redshore Town , This location boasts many games popular in other regions, such as clefairy themed slot machines and the voltorb flip card game. There's even a betting game similar to the dodrio sports of the Sevii Islands. However, there seems to be even more vice-riddled activities occurring in this particular casino behind closed doors, fake walls and who knows what else... - Submitted by @mason

Polade University - The largest university in the Shulian Region can be found in Polade City, It has a pokemon free campus and is closed to those not invited to visit inside by students, teachers or guest lectures like the Elite 4,  further information can be found here. - Submitted by Old Member

Poffin Man - On the edge of Seabreeze Village lives an older man, handing out poffins to wild pokemon and trainers in need at sunrise and sunset daily. Its unknown if he has pokemon of his own, though its been suggested his wife passed away or left recently and he has no one else in the home. - Submitted by Hallie Narina

Allotments - On the edge of Nefi Village there are a series of allotments, some of which are owned by those who live and work in the village but a small cluster have been bought and then let out to the public. On the public land, anyone is permitted to visit and pick or grow herbs, berries or anything they like so long as they tend to other plants and are not an issue to the area. This area has a small wooden fence around it, splitting it off from the main allotments as well as the main walking path the area is beside to keep pokemon, wild and tame, from coming in unless they are asked, welcomed, or someone leaves the gate open - Submitted by Nix Night

Pampawering - Not fair from the dojo in Hindors Town there is a pokemon groomers. They are a rather small business which have 3 employees that are known of, though there could be more as all we have to go on is one very excitable young breeder who gets often paired with the same brother and sister pair as shes tries to learn some of their methods. The building is an old warehouse which has been converted and can take almost all sizes of pokemon for a wash, brush, trim, dust bath or about anything given the right notice and you turn up on time to your appointment. - Submitted by Hallie Narina

Mossie Rock-Cakes - Mossie Rock-Cakes is a little bakery / cafe tucked within a quiet corner of Mossrock City that, while it is not in the most active and commercial area of the city, is well known by those who prefer the quiet and more personal atmosphere to those who desire a little peace and quiet.

Because of it being a little more out of the way in comparison to other cafes it has a loyal clientele that will often come here to not only avoid the crowds but for those who spend much of their time in the limelight to ensure some privacy. The fact that the young woman that is the owner of the establishment makes wonderful baked goods and treats her patrons like family is what brings people coming back for more, and she is aided by her Slowking and Magmar who help with the upkeep of the place. - Submitted by Akira "Raine" Kaitos

Polade City University - This is the largest university in the Shula Region, located in Polade City on Typheus Island.  Polade City is the cultural capital of Shula, and students apply to learn here from within the region and even from overseas.  It has an excellent international studies program and covers any type of major you can think of, including customized majors.

The school is most famous for its pokemon training, breeding, coordinating, and research majors as well as its veterinary programs.  It has various classes that study specific types of pokemon as well.

Various gym leaders, rangers, police officers, and the like are often invited as guest lecturers.

In order to keep the congestion and unnecessary damages to a minimum, no pokemon are permitted to roam around campus unless their is a special reason for it.  Many students live off-campus for this reason or sneak around with them, hoping the staff will turn a blind eye to the pokemon as long as they behave.

The university is quite modern and well-kept to face off against its competition.  It uses up-to-date technology in its learning programs.  There are several campus buildings dedicated to the sciences, the arts, literature, philosophy, pokemon studies, and so on.

Several different battling arenas imitating different types of terrain are located around the campus for students to experience and practice on.  These arenas usually have to be signed up for in advance, and your spot will be taken if you aren't there on time.  Often, an entire class or study group will share an arena at once.  Since these are often booked, students also use the battle complex fairly frequently.
