Much like in typical gameplay with the main stream games that we all know and love there will be certain area's or certain weather conditions that depending upon the current onsite season that may affect numerous area's and as such will give way to particular weather scenario's that in the event of a battle will either help or hinder those depending upon particular typings and situations.
In order to avoid causing too much - if any - confusion amongst everyone here is the information regarding each weather and how they will affect, benefit or hinder those who participate within battles in such.
Sunny Day / Sunny Weather
Of course there are a couple of types of pokemon that will benefit from this weather effect - most notably Fire and Grass types - and also those that it will hinder Water Types - though surprisingly there is also a negative effect depending upon certain abilities.
in the case of those who it will benefit there are a variety of situations where this will apply.
Fire Types: While this weather is in effect fire type moves gain a slight boost in their power - much like when those with the Blaze ability and their HP goes below a third (1/3) - of 50% it's original power alongside all other bonuses in which may be in play.
Example:
Ember; 40 + (STAB) + 20 (50% boost) +/- Your Attack/ Enemy Defense Modifiers +/- SE/NVE = Total
Grass Types: though not a major advantage and while in the case of moves like Solar Beam where typically in the games it is a two-stage turn in the presence of sunlight typically halves that within the games to being fully charged and useable in one move, on Shula however the two-stage turn doesn't generally apply however it does mean that the 'charging' time for such a move can be considered a little 'quicker' as a benefit of the added sunlight.
Now onto the negative effects of this weather effect upon water types:
This is essentially the opposite of the positive bonus in which fire types receive during the period of sunlight, in the case of water types any water based moves they are to use will result in the base power being halved for the duration of the sunlight being in effect.
Example:
Water Gun; 40 + (STAB) - 20 (50% negative boost) +/- Your Attack/ Enemy Defense Modifiers +/- SE/NVE = Total
Rain Dance / Rainy Weather
While this weather is in effect WATER type moves gain a slight boost in their power - much like when those with the Torrent ability and their HP goes below a third (1/3) - of 50% it's original power alongside all other bonuses in which may be in play.
Example:
Water Gun; 40 + (STAB) + 20 (50% boost) +/- Your Attack/ Enemy Defense Modifiers +/- SE/NVE = Total
Now onto the negative effects of this weather effect upon Fire types:

Hail / Snowy Weather
This is a rather simple one in comparison to the other weather based moved, put simply whenever Hail isin effect much like it's ingame description any ice type that is participating withing a battle it receives no damage due to it's immunity to such a thing whereas with all other types it will gradually cause damage and decrease at a rate of 1/16 damage each turn.
Sandstorm
While not technically a weather effect in the sense that Sunny Day & Rain Dance is, jsut for the sake of ensuring everyone has access to the same information will it get covered here all the same.
Naturally much like it's ingame description indicate within Shula itself it still applies - all pokemon types with the exception of Rock, Ground & Steel types are receive 1/16 damage each turn that sandstorm is in effect.
For those pokemon who know / use Solar Beam the damage is halved
Healing moves such as Moonlight, Morning Sun & Synthesis only heal 1/4 of the user's max HP
Weather Ball
This is a rather unique attack that stereotypically is known that a Castform learns and is capable of using amongst other attacks - though there are 5 other pokemon which learn this move (3 legends along with Roserade & Vanilluxe) via level up along with a handful that have this as an egg move - which depending upon the weather changes the typing of this move. As such depending upon the weather the typing is as follows:
Sunny Weather - Fire, Rainy Weather - Water, Hail / Snowy Weather - Ice, No Weather - Normal
HOWEVER as mentioned above due to both the moves and Castform's own uniqueness of also being able to change form with the weather this means that this is the only pokemon that will consistently gain the STAB bonus when each type of weather is in effect.
