The tall man reached out for the door in front of him before he paused, moving one gloved hand back and quickly moving his glasses up his face to rest them correctly on his nose again before he reached out for the door again and this time noticed it slid open as he tried to grasp it. Raising an eyebrow, the redhead walked inside the building and glanced around before noting a receptionist desk with no one behind it. Well, there was a game for later but for now, he needed to train his new pokemon.

This thought in mind the male looked over the large map just behind the main desk, nodded to himself a few times and then began to wander down the long corridor before he stopped beside one door. "Alright, we want to test that speed of yours" he began as he pushed the door open, moving one hand to his belt to pick up one of his two pokeballs before he threw it out and smirked as he watched the shiny pokemon land in front of him. "So, full speed" he said with a grin, gesturing to the large running track behind the torchic who smirked himself, turned and then began to very lop-sidedly run along the edge of the track and quickly was in its center as he ran.

Well that sucked. Lars was not exactly annoyed by how lasts week training had gone, no, that was a lie. He was very much annoyed by how it had gone but he was managing it, or he was managing it now and had used a lot of angry words at several people on his way here in order to do so. However the man had found himself something rather special, technically it belonged to another member of team rocket but she mentioned over and over how she had so many and her daddy kept getting her more so he didnt think she needed to keep it.

The thing was some sort of liquid and it was said to make a pokemon change in some way, Lars had to admit he was very attached to his shiny pokemon at this stage but if he could make him stronger, he wanted to do that. As such the man knelt down beside the track and offered the chicken the bottle, though Kossix seemed to pause for a moment before sipping it. Right away the male seemed to enjot the taste and all but finish the bottle, turning and running off moments later and Lars winced. He was slower, so much slower. The man began to curse before he noticed something, sure his little pokemon was wobbling from side to side like normal but every time he seemed to correct himself or really push down, small flames flickered around his talons.

This dojo thing was amazing, not that lars was going to go ahead and give credit to some pile or bricks and all that, but the building seemed to have just about every thing within it that one person could need to train almost any type of pokemon as well as any size or any personaility. It was stunning, though again, lars was not admitting any of this and taking full credit himself. Kossix was of course still leaning, the fire type wobbling back and forth as he and his trainer walked down the corridor to todays room, but even lars could see he was a little more definied in his steps.

He was getting tougher, this was great.

As Lars reached the door, he held it open to allow the lopsided pokemon though it before the fire type frowned. "This one is simple, blast the targets" lars muttered, lifting a hand up and away from the door to let it close as well as gesture to the wall of targets on the other side from the entrance. Kossix for his part grinned, lowered his head, and began to fire of embers again and again all over the place as lars yelped and stepped back.

"One at a time!"

His pokemon was getting stronger, it was very clear for lars to see that his shiny stood a little taller and sure he was still leaning to one side and had to be pushed back to the right place on the path a good few times on the way to the dojo but it seemed his strides were longer and with more purpose too now. It was all progess and while Lars found the males habit of leaning to one side, falling over and generally wobbling a little annoying, he wouldnt give it up for a plain orange pokemon any day.

Smirking at this thought, the male wandered in to the dojo and quickly headed to the target room again, waiting for his pokemon long enough to make sure he was upright and following but not wasting any extra time. Once they were inside the room, the redhead pointed to the targets but kossix was already in the center of the room by the time the team rocket grunt had raised his hands. Flares of red shot from the small pokemon, blasting across the room and while 4 of them hit, one missed the edge of the target and it seemed this one receive a large blast of orange moments later for its trouble.
