With the meowth’s special training out of the way, the breeder decided to focus on the two feline that haven’t had any special training yet but have been with her for some time now. Unfortunately, it took time to finally get Katniss from her cozy high spot in her house. The purrloin happily sleep all day than to actual battle. However, Genesis felt that maybe some special training with the feline would do the creature some good. So after some time attempting to talk the creature into it, the human got the cat nip and enticed the creature to come down and play.

Luckily, she still had her training course set up from the week before and didn’t need to move anything by the time they got there. Switching her tactic, the woman pulled out a cat toy. It was a stick with a fluffy ball at the end of a long string. Nothing special, but Genesis knew that the purrloin was a playful thing and should get the cat running.

With that, the breeder spent the next thirty minutes using the cat toy to get Katniss to ‘run’ the course. And honestly, it was fun the first few times. It brought the feline so much joy and fun. However, Katniss soon got bored and Genesis had to switch it up again. Being exhausted herself, laser pointer time. The laser pointed worked like a charm, allowing Genesis to catch her breath while she pointed the little red dot to get the feline to chase. It lasted a lot longer than she thought it would, Katniss soon getting tried and panting herself before she retreated to her high spot to nap. Success!

With her plans to take on the year this year now pushed onto the next year, the raven haired woman decided to give her pokemon more time to get stronger and think of better strategy to face the gym. And with Ryoko out of practice for a while and a new found direction in life, the breeder was quick to set up something for the lucario in hopes to keep him moving in the right direction. After all, they had some bond recovery to do as well.

Ryoko eyed the young shulian riolu, arms folded over his chest. The human smiled, explaining the purpose of this training exercise again to both so they each understood what was going on. Ryoko nodded. He understood and agreed, but it felt young to beat up on the young. However, his human did make a good point. Think of this as though he was training his own young, or like a young pup from his old pack. It was hard to think of it that way, both were trauma in their own way. But, doable.

So for the next several hours, Ryoko began to train the young riolu in the art of hand to hand combat. Of course, the lucario went easy on the young boy but still gave it his all. Genesis would observed in the background, stepping in when she felt was necessary or when she had her own ideas. In the end, both the lucario and the riolu were worn down. And in some ways, Genesis felt that Ryoko got some training in despite being paired against a much younger foe. She was happy in the end.

Just like the rest of her ever growing team of fluffy butts, the breeder spent the good part of the morning setting up an agility course specifically designed with Togo the Furfrou in mind. Because the canine had no drive to battle like many of her other canines, this course was set up in a way to make it fun while still being both educational and energy burning. And to top it all off, Genesis made treats that seemed to be his favorite. This should help her encourage the very friendly canine to do something more than just demand attention.

A hand rose to her forehead, wiping away the sweat that began to form on her face. A slime danced along her deep read glossy lips, feeling yet another sense of pride with her work and attention to detail. Although this course wasn’t as intense as others she had build, it defiantly should provide enough special training for today.

And with that done, the raven haired woman turned to get her pup. She gasped when the Furfrou was literally right behind her, startling her even though the pup sat excitedly. His tail wagged so fierce that his butt wiggled, tongue hung out with his eyes bright. The human chuckled lightly and patted the pup on the head, amazed that no one wanted this dog.

“Hey Togo.” His ears perched up, entire body wagged with joy when his master patted his head. “Let have some fun, okay.” The furfrou pushed into her touch, soon his whole body pressed around her leg almost knocking the poor trainer over. “Easy boy,” she mumbled between chuckles, pushing him back, “I even made some treats.” At the mention of treats, his eyes widened and butt planted on the ground. Yes, treats.

She shook her head back and forth, finding him goofy as all hell. “Good boy,” she praised, reaching to grab a piece of kibble from her hip bag, “Now I want you to follow me and listen.” Her hand extended out, letting the furfrou gobble the treat before his full attention was on her again. She held up another piece, moving to the first obstacle and walking him through it using the treat as bait. And once done, a treat was given.

“Good,” she praised again, grabbing another treat to keep his attention, “We got several more to do. Come, follow me.” And with that, the breeder would spend the next several hours training the pup how to run the agility course. They would only stop once in a while to give the furfrou some love in order to keep his attention on the task as hand.

Unlike Evo, Kirala wanted an actual battle tor practice for the dark gym. And the only one that could prove a change, would be Nymeria. Of course, the poochyena didn’t want to. It took some real convincing to get her to agree to do this. But after several hours of Kirala begging the canine, somehow she got her to agree to it and actually try to win the fight. Kirala moved to one side of the small clearing by their house while Nymeria moved to the other. Genesis stood on the sidelines, doing her best to hide her smile.

Genesis counted down and the practice battle began. Kirala started the battle with a nasty looking leer at the poochyena, forcing her to second guess herself. And in that moment of hesitation, the rockruff darted towards her in a tackle. Their bodies collided, a small whine escaped nymeria but she didn’t back down. The dark dog darted towards the rock dog, muzzle parted to bite down on the little rockeuffs tail.

She yipped, paws dug into the each to sand attack her. The sand blasted her eyes, being forced to let go and put some distance between them as she tried to get the sand out of her eyes. Kirala once again, too advance of her. She double teamed herself before sending a rock throw in her direction. Over all, the battle didn’t last long at all. Kirala was the victory leaving Nymeria beaten up and nearly blinded.

Ever since this meowth was captured, the feline has had his world turned upside down and inside out. For one, the feline no longer had to find his own food. In fact, his current human provides good quality food he had never had before in his short life. Another luxury, a shelter. Before he was captured by his first trainer, Berlioz lived no where really. In a box, under some stairs, or anything that seemed like a good place to rest. With Genesis, the meowth not only had a roof over his head but a comfy pillow to snooze on by a fireplace. The only thing he didn’t have that he use to love about being a street cat, the fights. The feline loved to get into fights with other felines, not so much for mating rights or territory. He just loved to fight. But now, he doesn’t get into fights that often.

With that being said, the feline had grown tired of living the lap of luxury. He missed the days of fighting, pleading with his human to allow him to get into some fights here and there. Although it took some time, finally his day has come. Though upon walking into the place the human called the dojo, it wasn’t what he expected. He has seen battles hosted by humans on the tv, and this looked nothing like it. Beady gaze turned to the human, head tilted in confusion. Genesis explained the place, also being very clear that she didn’t want to throw him in a fight without some training because its been awhile.

Of course, Berlioz found this silly. He even hissed at her. Yet, she did make a good point. It has been several years since he’s been in a fight. He watched the human set up what she called an agility course, to get things started. And when she was done, he had to run the course and get better times each time or he wouldn’t get stronger. He tried to voice he’s not a dog, yet she said that everyone does this or he will never battle again. Whatever. So for the next several hours, Berlioz did the little training exercise. At first, he did it slow mostly because he found it a waste of time. But the more times he did it, he couldn’t help but want to be faster. Before he knew it, he was running the course like those pesky dogs and even almost panting like them too. Wow.

Despite the surprised evolution and change in Kofu’s physical appearance, the male pokemon hasn’t changed one bit. He was cold, distant, and lazy. In same ways, maybe it was destiny that he accidentally evolved into a glaceon. His personality fit the evolution to a T. However, the breeder really didn’t want Kovu to evolve until he matured more. But alas, there as nothing she could do for him now. Just except it, and move on.

“Kovu,” the woman grumbled, annoyance in her tone, “You need to get some training in. You need to learn your body and its limits. Come on. Battle against Akaash.” The icy vulpix stood, strutting his stuff as he made it to his side of the large battling area. The glaceon turned his head away, refusing to battle. The breeder crossed her arms over her chest, glaring darkly at the glaceon. Kovu, curious, turned his gaze to see what his human was doing. And went he did, he felt the sting of an angry trainer.

“Fine,” Kovu hissed, moving to his side of the pretend battlefield, “But I don’t ever want to battle again after this.” Genesis rolled her eyes, but expected the somewhat win. And once both pokemon were in position, the raven haired woman started the battle. The two exchanged blows, Akaash surprisingly putting in some effort despite his normal laziness as well. In the end, the Allan vulpix ended up winning the fight. Kovu not use to his new body enough to be effective in battle.

It took quite a lot of convincing to get the breeder out of the comfort of her own home. And let’s be honest, who could really blame her? Not only was it cold out, she still was blind and deaf from that day. It has taken a toll on her, both physically and mentally. However, that didn’t mean she could neglect her duties of a Pokémon handler. As such, Vhagar wasnt about to allow his human to blow him off again for what felt like the trillionth time.

With that not being an option, Genesis made a special request to the dojo to set up special flying obstacles for the hisui rufflet. Vhagar wasn’t happy about this training practice. He already knew his body well enough to breeze through the courses over and over again. She claimed that he needed some practice before being in a real battle. Well, Vhagar was going to prove to her that he was more than ready to battle for real. For the next several hours, the avian soared through the practice until his wings couldn’t do no more.

Unfortunately for him, Genesis was too busy sulking to really pay attention. Not that she didn’t believe him, it was more that she didn’t have the energy to really acknowledge his efforts right now.
