APPEARANCE

Hallie takes after her father mostly, long dark hair that flows down her back that she does tie up in to plaits from time to time but she isn't very good at it. Her mother used to do it all the time, but shes not got the knack yet. Shes got her mothers bright green eyes and carries a bow tie in the back of her hair and a scarf from her mother in bright orange, a little of her mother to keep with her.

Shes about 5'1 right now but still growing so shes rather lanky but she has a little power in her legs. She tends to wear dresses all the time, aside when shes sleeping and then shes in green pjs but the rest of the time she has a simple blue sundress. Shes got a pair of blue boots too, easier to run about in, and freckles covering her nose.

HISTORY

Hallie is an only child with a big family, her mother and father are a very happy and loving couple but they are also young and have busy lives. Her father is a region champion, often traveling around and only having a little time to spend with her and her mother is a gym leader in her home town so shes around a lot but shes got to battle often so hasnt all the time to spend with her daughter. She was named between her mothers side of the family following flower names and her fathers for fitting, however her mother has always called her Hallie and so she goes by that and has done since she was 4. She got old she had the discussion with her family about her name and it was decided she would by her mothers Maiden name like her aunts as her parents were a little too well known and using their surname would have her labeled for life to anyone who met her.

So she spends most of her time with her 3 aunts, they are co-ordinators and very well known and good at what they do and through them the little girl learned a love for the water. She was taught to swim by her mother and her father tried to take her on a trip to the beach, in any region, every year for the summer but with her aunts the girl had a chance to swim and play with pokemon all the time.

She went through school well enough, a little too focused on pokemon and being in the water. She started to focus on becoming a swimmer, hoping to be able to make a career of it but as she got older and her grades didnt do quite as well as everyone hoped, her mother put her foot down. The girl was made to spend her 10th year not on a pokemon trip but focusing on school, she re-sat her exams and did much better this time and so her mother and father spent that summer away in Shula for their yearly holiday. It was decided Hallie would have her journey there so as the summer drew to a close and hallie had her 12th birthday, she was given an oshawott. She looked down to the pokemon and then to her two parents and shook her head, she didnt want to be just her parents daughter. 

She took her starter out, caught herself a pokemon and then returned her oshawott to her understanding parents. Her father brought her over to the shula port and kissed her goodbye, handing her the gifts from her mother.
