As many know by now, Vallon has a rather lazy outlook on like. He only does the bare minimum to slip through life and move onto the next day. Of course, this type of attitude doesn’t change today. However, the hybrid did put in some effort today to come to the dojo and let his pokemon practice battle to their heart content. Though like most of his pokemon knew, the trainer wasn’t going to help with this matter even a little. Nope, the gijinka was happy enough to snooze in the corner of the room on top of a bench he moved there for said nap.
This infuriated the young budew, casting the sleeping hybrid a look with daggers. Why of all people was he paired with this one? Saguaro huffed, turning his back at the poor excuse of a trainer and his hateful eyes fell upon his ‘training partner’ for the day. The twin headed snake hissed, neither liking each other even a little. The budew held his frame high, almost snooty towards the shulian ekans. “Look,” the grass and poison type almost bark, “Just don’t get dirt on me. I may be willing to get stronger but that doesn’t mean I want to look live a filthy mongrel.”
Viper hissed darkly at him, this ‘new member’ really getting on her nerves. Cobra, like always, only copied his sister. And as the pair glared at each other, it was Viper who sprang into action. It was Vipers mission to get this so called team up to snuff, refusing to let their lazy trainer get the better of them. After all, Viper wanted to the strongest out there. She came in for the beat up, only for the budew to do some kind of twirl and release some kind of powder into the air. Not knowing what this is, Viper smirked and came in for the hit. But as their body coiled around the small budder’s frame, a sudden heavy sleepiness washed over them And before they knew it, they were fast asleep. Saguaro huffed, leaping out of the coiled pile of snake and walking away. Dumb snake.

After what happened during their battle against the admin, Shade has been a little more rambunctious and it was getting on Vallon’s nerves. And in hopes to get what this was out, the gijinka decided to head to the dojo and let him battle it out against another one of his pokemon. Reaching into his pocket, the man plucked out two spheres.
In a flash of light, two ghostly pokemon materialized within seconds. One, said energized gastly. The other, a cool and calm spiritomb. They both watched the man as he moved to the side of the large room, shifting a chair and sitting down. Once down, he nodded and mumbled “Have at it.”
Shade snickered, large eyes on the fellow ghost type. Suddenly, large red eyes appeared before his. He attempted to mean look Specter, but it failed. Specter sent out a confuse ray, only to be nullified by the gastly when he vanished into nothingness. Being a fellow ghost type, the spiritomb knew where he was and foul played him. Shade screeched, pain riddled him. A flash of light forced the move to be disable, not wanting to be hit by that super effective move again.
His snickering returned, long wet tongue out ready to lick the ghostly ghoul. Spiritomb was hit, paralyzing him completely. In the end, Shade won only by a margin. Of course, Vallon did praise either of them. He simply sighed and recalled them. Who knew being free was so…. Boring?

It was clear that Vallon didn’t care about training his pokemon. This much was clear to almost everyone by now. Yet, the constant pressure from the rocket higher ups forced him to come to the dojo to let his pokemon train themselves. Blue orbs shifted over the vast open area, a heavy sigh escaped him. Reaching into his pockets, the man summoned two pokemon. One, the ghost type known as a galarian corsola. The other, a two headed snake known as a shulian ekans. She, or rather they, have became do to for Vallon to get his pokemon trained with little effort from him.
All it took was a firm nod to Viper to indicated what he wanted from her. The shulian ekans almost smiling at her new victim. Vallon moved to an area to take a nap, quickly getting comfortable and soon out cold. Viper was quick to start the fight, throwing all her usually battling tactics at Antom. The pair exchanged blows for several minutes, Viper and Cobra really trying to drawl out Antom’s battle prowlers. However, it was very obvious that he was still young. And soon, the galarian corsola was out cold. Antom had a lot of work to please Viper.

His ‘trainer’ was pathetic. If he was still human, he would have beat this so called trainer into a blood pulp. He has notambition, no drive, and not even the desire to live some days. He swears! Yet, what else could he do? He was a pokemon now, nothing more than a pathetic little phantump. Marlow had the feeling that it was going to take a lot longer than he wanted to get strong enough. His revenge plan taking a slow burn.
Despite this, Marlow pretended to be the timid little creature he was. Eyes widened when the trainer told him he had to spar with someone on his own team in order to train. Lazy bastard. However, Shade was a much stronger pokemon. And the gastly, wasn’t going to go easy on him. At first, Marlow pretended to be scared and run way. But after several hits from the gastly, his patience and demeanor changed.
For several hours, the two exchanged blows. He was quick to learn that he wasn’t the badass pokemon he wanted to be. That the gods, mocked him in this new form they gave him. It was so frustrating and not far at all. And in the end, Shade won as excepted.

It was another recommendation by the rockets research team to do some special training with his pokemon on a weekly bases. This activity would help bring a sense of normality in his insanity of a life as well as bond with his pokemon. Bonding with a pokemon sounded like a foolish wish. It was pointless. Yet, here he was.
“Come on out Bandit,” the man mumbled, moving the one side of his jacket to let out the salandit that practically lived in there, “Its time to train.” The salandit peaked out from his hide hole, head tilted to one side before slithering out and onto the floor. Adjusting his jacket and look down upon the fire and poison type, he gave it a nod. Salandit titled his head to the other side, unsure of what to do. Vallon sighed, his own shoulders shrugged. “I don’t know.”
Cool orbs lifted, scanning the dojo for something to help his pokemon. Spotting the straw dummy, Vallon nodded to it. “Aim your attacks at that thing. See how many times you can hit it from here.” Arceus does he have to explain everything to these creatures. Bandit turned his head, spotting what his trainer was referring to. He nodded, fully facing the dummy before standing up on his hind legs. The creature took in a deep breath, firing round after round of embers at it. And honestly, Vallon was impressed by this salandit aim. Pretty good for a low level.

He was told to train his pokemon more. Or else, he would lose his freedom that he so desperately wanted. And what was more important to the gijinka, freedom or his time. It was a toss up for Vallon. But in the end, he picked his freedom over wasting his time. This meant, the team rocket grunt actually needed to put in some effort into training his pokemon. What a shame.
Vallon stood on one side of the large room. His expression flat, emotionless like always. Hands shoved in his pockets, half stumped over bored. The hybrid only knew of one way of training his pokemon, and that was battling with them. Unfortunately, the alien looking man didn’t care enough to go find a battle. So instead, he just pinned his pokemon against each other. One side was salandit, Bandit. And the other, the two headed shulian ekans named Viper and Cobra.
A heavy sigh escaped him, counting down for the practice battle to begin. At three, the sparring match began. It was bandit who made the first move, mouth parted to sent shots of embers at the ekans. Viper, being the more competitive of the two heads, attempted to dodge by moving to the left. However, her contested brother was too slow to release what its better half wanted. Cobra watched the ember came straight for them, only to his the loud hiss of his sister and turn to see what she wanted. But by the time the female head demand for him to move his half, it was too late. The embers hit both of them.
The battle came to end right there. Instead, the two snakes argued. Well. Kind of. Viper scolding Cobra for being so dumb and not paying attention to what was going on. Cobra apologized to his better half, his head lowered in shame. Viper was relentless though, going off on him about what felt like everything. Vallon simply yawned, turning to find a place to sit and take a nap.

He was told by the team rocket higher ups that this shiny sandygast was well worth his time. Yet, the man couldn’t see its worth at all. It was dumb and clumsy as all shit. The only worth Vallon could see was its weight in tokens if he choice to sell it to the highest bidder. The man let out a heavy sigh, summoning the black sandy creature out along with a training partner.
The twin headed viper hissed loudly, eying her new victim to train. Meanwhile, the gijinka moved to his usual spot. His mouth gapped open, a yawn consumed him. He settled down to rest, giving his shulian ekans a firm nod before turning back to take his nap. Viper hissed darkly at the shiny ‘new member’, really getting on her nerves. Cobra, like always, only copied his sister.
And as the pair glared at each other, it was Viper who sprang into action. It was Vipers mission to get this so called team up to snuff, refusing to let their lazy trainer get the better of them. After all, Viper wanted to the strongest out there. Yaelle cowered away from Vipers cold stare. A shimmer spread across its sandy form. It harden its form. Today was going to be a long day of training.

Bandit wasn’t his strongest pokemon. He also wasn’t much of a fighter. The salandit was more of a thief, sneaking around and stealing other people items was more like it. However, Vallon was told he needed to train all of his pokemon. And with Vallon not giving two poops about that, the man simply returned to the dojo and called further two of his pokemon. Bandit, the one training today, and another one of his pokemon to battle against. This time, it was Viper and Cobra. Simply because, they loved to battle and they were getting on his nerve.
After telling them to fight it out, the hybrid moved to the side to find a place to take a nap. And as soon as Vallon laid his head, the shulian ekans attacked the salandit. At first, it was the game of cat and mouse. Bandit would ran, looking for anywhere to hide from the two headed snake. Viper wouldn’t let it happen, itching to battle someone even if it was her own team mate. And at one point, the shulian ekans cornered poor bandit and forced the creature to fight back.
A few scratches, embers, fake out, and many beat ups later, it was still clear that the shulian ekans was superior to the salandit. Still, Bandit did get some good training in even through he ran away most of the time.

Important Info
Season
Good news, Autumn is here! The sticky heat of the summer is finally gone, but the bad news? Its gotten very cold very fast. Berrys have fallen early from their perches, fruit and food is getting caught in snap frosts and icy mornings and this is leading to very cold mornings, pokemon getting desprate quickly and dark and chilly evenings
Next season change ~ May 20th
Swarming Pokemon!
Encouraged Characters
Currently, our character numbers are pretty even, so aside from us gently encouraging more civilians and breeders...go nuts!
Numbers of Gijinka on site have dropped, too, so they're open to be applied for at the moment- though, if you're interested, go check out the adoptable threads for many wanted ones! They could always use players! ;-)
