APPEARANCE
Her hair is massive. It easily reaches the middle of her back with length and the volume of it reaches her elbows when her arms are held out. From this luxurious bush of hair sprouts golden blossoms. They tend to blossom in spring and fall out sometime in early winter; they may die off sooner if Bii is in poor health.
Beneath all of that plentiful hair is a petite little woman. In the same way a deer is slender and big gangly, Bii is as well. Her neck has a graceful length to it… Or, maybe it’s a little eerie? Her recently pierced ears are decidedly like those of a deerling’s. The color shifts with the seasons and means that Bii sheds a lot.
On that note, the edges of her hair are really the only part that boast that iconic deerling season specific coat color. Her hair tends to fade into a creamy butter-white after about three inches. Most chalk it up to her pokemon anatomy. This means her root color changes, but the hair length itself remains the same.
Bii’s eyes are a chalky gray.
The woman has a fondness for ivory, wood, and pearl jewelry.
In general, as far as human traits go, this woman is rather scrawny. As from her ears and flowers, her only other noteworthy gijinka trait is her little tail. With its small size, its easy for her to tuck away in clothing. This is made even easier by the fact that most of her clothes from before she moved to Shula seem to swallow her…
There is a large collection of scars across Bii’s stomach, inner elbows, buttocks, and thighs. Many of them overlap and inhibit her movement. She brushes them off as injuries gained haha whoa you’ll get this soon enough

HISTORY
CONTENT WARNING! child abuse, death, implied torture, non-specific mental illnesses with specific symptoms, medical abuse, identity theft/unreality/unreliable narrator.
Ilargi or “Bii” was born in Haruba Village to a supportive family. She always had a strong sense of justice. Didn’t she? Yes, yeah, always a strong sense of justice. And, her wonderful shinx was there, too!
It was a wonderful childhood… She was loved, and went to school, and had friends, and never ever had to go to the doctor because she was just the right amount of okay! Not too healthy, not too sick! Just right to be happy with her mom and dad and… There were siblings! A brother and a sister. Brothers and sisters...? Siblings. And, grandparents! Aunts and uncles, too! Cousins, even! There were neighbors with their own children!
It was a good childhood. She saw the sun a lot.
Then, she attended ranger school! It was so good! She and Inkwell did great. She… met someone there? No! She met someone in Vientown! Yes, that person was her friend. When they left, she stayed in Almia.
Until things got really bad where he was!! Bii and Inkwell decided to go! For justice! And friendship! Heroic ranger stuff!
She barely made it to Shula when there was a mission!! But, heroes never say no to someone in need! People and pokemon must be saved!! So, off Bii and Inkwell went! But, the ship full of bad Rockets and all of their kidnapped goods sank! Bii just barely managed to save someone.
Someone who… looked a lot like her. The hair was a little different and her body was weird, but if the stranger put on some weight and gained some muscle, they could pass for twins!
But, the stranger died. So sad! So many casualties from that sinking ship! Team Rocket is so horrible! It was so horrible that it changed Bii, turning her into something entirely new! Oh, well! Now, Bii has to do her best to save other people!
… Inkwell will help her remember if she’s forgetting anything, right? And, people will be patient with her while she's adapting to this new... life... Right?

{True History}
Subject #343's mother did not name her. That Rocket agent was not even the one who cruelly nicknamed the child Bloodbag. The deerling gjinka was fated to become an experiment, so there was no attachment. When the child was thought, at first, to be a failure, there was even less of a reason to dignify the sack of flesh with a name.
What a waste of nine months and so much research. At least they could analyze the baby to figure out what went wrong this time.
The attempted analysis was what triggered Bloodbag’s transformation. It was a cruel but satisfying new statistic: the youngest transformed failure yet. The rest of her miserable childhood would be spent as a scientific novelty and illicit medical boon.
Between her accelerated growth rate and her exceptional healing rate as a grass type gijinka, the source of Bloodbag’s nickname becomes clear. Plasma, bone marrow, pieces of her liver—she helped fund much of the suffering she and many others endured. Or, at least, the pieces of her they took away in bags and storage boxes did.
Most of Bloodbag’s life was spent in a self soothing haze. Her connection between her mind and body was tenuous at best. It was easier to focus on the medical displays in front of her; to get caught up in the industry chatter around her. Delusions soothed her and she sometimes imagined the machines made her, that she needed to be connected to them even as they took from her or else she would die.
The human mind can adapt to nearly anything. Not well, not beautifully, but it manages somehow through so much. There are still lingering anxieties in the woman about whether or not she will live without having a needle or more in her. But, her paradoxical fascination in and fear of medicine makes scratching that itch difficult.
Bloodbag’s over a decade long haze of suppressed memories and near constant dissociation was broken on the day the Shulian Team Rocket branch decided to ship her out to another region in an exchange of resources. A small group of rangers tried to intercept and stop the shipment. Among those was Ilargi.
The two looked startlingly alike. If Bloodbag were muscular and well fed or Ilargi were gaunt and mousy, they could be twins… save the gijinka features, naturally. This discovery startled Ilargi both because she hadn’t seen many gijinka before but also because there were only supposed to be supplies like machines and equipment on here. There weren’t even supposed to be pokemon…!
And, yet, Ilargi’s heroic heart could not abandon Bloodbag to whatever fate awaited her. Team Rocket sank the ship, refusing to let the rangers have anything onboard if they couldn’t. Ilargi got Bloodbag to a lifeboat, wrapping the other woman in her jacket and leaving Inkwell behind with a command to keep the gijinka safe.
Then, more brave and just than sensible, Ilargi plunged back into the waters to try saving even the Rocket grunts. Bloodbag and Inkwell never saw her return.
Bloodbag was terrified. She was a member of Team Rocket. Would they punish her for that? But, she had this woman’s things…
Inkwell, shocked by the fact her partner was now missing and possibly dead, recalled her partner's final command for the little shinx: look after Bloodbag. Knowing little about the region herself, Inkwell could not completely dismiss Bloodbag’s fears. So, she agreed to Bloodbag’s ruse in exchange that they might seek out an ally in the region to figure out what was really going on.
Now, here the two are after rescue. Bloodbag uses her secondhand knowledge of medicine to pass herself off as Bii with memory lapses due to her traumatic experience and sudden transformations. Bloodbag’s actual mental issues lend to this fabrication nicely… Inkwell, meanwhile, is unsure of what she is doing is right, but she can’t fully trust the Shulians yet and won’t disregard her partner’s possible final wishes.
