The Drifloon winked at the Charcadet. "Perhaps... I know more," she whispered. "The worst thing that could happen is someone knowing, right? Perhaps your trainer, too?"

She was ready to bluff it all the way home. She winced as the fiery tornado spun up and around her again, licking at her wounds angrily. "You may think you're safe now," she managed to get out. "But you can never trust anyone, can you?" She was guessing based on his previous reactions, trying desperately to get him to make a mistake.

She prepared another payback. Regardless of whether or not he attacked, she could still win this, if she landed a few more hits, perhaps. She didn't like that they were in her territory, hunting ghosts as if he was not one himself.

"Thats stupid. You can trust those who prove its worthwhile to trust them" the male snapped back at her comment, staggering a little as he came to stand. He gave a little grunt as he did so, shooting another leer towards the ghost type and having to take a few seconds to get to his feet but as he did so, he formed an ember in his hand. The Drifloon cursed to herself as the Charcadet avoided her attack, and winced as the flames licked up her balloon-like body once more. Then, the Charcadet actually attacked, but she hadn't prepared Payback in time! She wailed, though it was more like a gust of wind, as the flames tore through her body like paper. She panted, on her last bit of energy. She glared at the other ghost, panting heavily.

"You think you're safe?" She spat. "I may lose this battle, but they will win the war!" She made one last attack, a final gambit, if you will, and disappeared into the fog before reappearing behind the Charcadet and attempting a shriek, to startle him or injure him, whatever she could do to make sure he came down with her.

☽ Luna Sallow ☾ ☠ There's two sides to every story ☠ With everything that had happened today, he was not on his game. This was a type of pokemon he hunted as if it was a normal thing for him, it was like walking the dunes or looking for water for him, but between finding a sister and making the choice he had, it seemed, his head had been far too clouded. Seb realized all this as the ghost type appeared in front of him, far too close for him to move back and away from her and far too fast for him to dive to the side. The Astonish caught him off guard and he felt the rush of shock move through his limbs, each going stiff before he noticed the shade of blue behind the ghost. His eyes fell on his sister, watching her with concern in her eyes and yet her hands curled tightly together. Throwing his own fists in to the same movement, the pokemon span around, the attack of the ghost type sailing over one arm as he threw out another just as a new ember formed.
