Now here were somewhere that Kai had not been to for a very long time, in fact if the gijinka male were being completely honest with himself he truly could not remember the last time in which he had actually come all the way up to Glacierpeak Town to actually spend some time here for either work or leisure. There would be no doubt in Kai's mind that it would have only been a fleeting visit if he had indeed been her but nothing more than that, needless to say it would certainly mean that now more than ever would be a good opportunity to change such a thing was it not?

Of course Kai had needed to make some preparations before heading out ehre given just how cold this place were meant to be, the last thing that the gijinka male wanted was for himself or any of his pokemon to get a chill and in turn get ill as a result of such - this would have been all the reason for the gijinka male ensuring that all his pokemon were for the most part in their respective pokeballs at least until they found somewhere warm and comfortable that allowed pokemon to wander freely.

Until then all that would be seen would be one Jolteon gijinka with a smaller then average Luxray - of which had a scarf wrapped around her neck and a small Pichu riding on her back snuggled into the folds of the arge scarf too - padding alongside him as they moved along one of hte snow covered streets amidst all the skiers that flocked to this place and attempted to search out somewhere good to go.

At least assuming nothing else caused them to briefly divert from this at any point, for who truly knew jsut what could happen despite the most well laid plans?

It had taken far too long to get to Glacierpeak Town then the light brown haired boy would have liked it to have, a frown pursing onto his lips as he looked around the town he had only gotten to a few moments earlier. The boy’s hands were caged in deep brown gloves leather gloves, thick and warm and easily able to keep the boy’s fingers from going numb as he walked along. His body was covered largely in a probably too long coat, set aside largely for the winter months but pulled out for this. His boot clad feet crunched against snow as he walked, shifting slightly to adjust the wrong of his long coat where a small head of bright golden yellow could be seen against the tan/white fur of the collar and hood.

Beside him walked a small Houndour, the fire type’s warmth aiding the boy in keeping himself warm while he searched for a place to go that allowed Pokemon, his Mudkip tucked safely away in his Pokeball for the moment as he had not wanted to be out until they got somewhere warm. “Okay guys let’s see what we can find huh?” The boy enquired with a smile, reaching up with a gloved hand to gently pat the Pichu’s little head while his other petted the Houndur’s.

The deeper into the town the trio went the more interested Mandy seemed to become, sniffing the air with intrigue as she moved. It took a bit but eventually the scent of somethign interesting drew her attention, other people or Pokemon perhaps? She didn’t know but the puppy took off without hesitation and booked it in the general direction of the Jolteon Gijinka.

And of course it would not only be the young boy that were looking for somewhere suitable that would be welcoming to pokemon in their establishment - or more accurately allowed pokemon loose within rather than confined to their pokeball - for Kai too would be having the same general idea. However there would be something of a difference when it came to the gijinka male that were Kai, for while he may not have been to Glacierpeak all that often if at all didn't mean had had not made an effort to do some research before actually coming all the way out here. This would be the very reason in which KAi would have been taking a very specific route through the snow bound city with his own pair of pokemon, for there were indeed a cafe / diner somewhere nearby and it would just be a case of following the directions he remembered having read and thankfully it would seem to work out well in the long run for the gijinka male along with both Shay and Rowan following.

Of course this wpuld also mean that the trio would not really be paying much attention to those that were around them, not that there were all too many people around them at this particular point in time anyway and even if there was such people were likely far enough enough that would - in the gijinka's mind at least - not warrant the need to pay attention to such people. Besides as it were to come to pass and after a further few minutes and heading down the route they were taking it would seem as if they would eventually come to locate the place they were looking for.

As such this would be the very reason that the literal trio of electric beings would be standing outside and just to the side of the entrance to a diner and seemingly looking over a small selection of the menu that was displayed on a mini board that had a mixture of interesting and delicious sounding dishs and drinks along with a 'pokemon welcome' sign.

Henry let out a soft sigh of frustration as he watched his Pokemon take off, the little Houndour bolting full force away from him and toward whatever or whoever she thought to be of enough interest -not a hard thing for her honestly but that was besides the point.- Hopefully this wouldn’t turn out like in Atlas Fields with him getting told to watch his Pokemon more closely and all that. Then again Atlas Fields had been a much more dangerous place to travel with Pokemon in such a level. But nothing bad had happened so that was okay, it was better than nothing or better especially then him and his Pokemon running into the promised trouble.

The boy moved, pulling a gloved hand through his short light brown locks as he followed behind his Houndour, watching the Pokemon draw further away but still keeping close enough to her to get involved I f something happened.

Mandy weaved her way through the snow covered streets, bobbing in between people as her nose went haywire and she tried to find something. She could smell it, the scents of food again and again, each glance at where she thought it was proving to hold a No Pokemon sign with those red circles with the line through them: So she couldn’t go in those no matter how nice they smelled huh? Okay then she just had to beak going!

It was as she rounded the corner that the Pokemon caught the scent of.. something sorta like when their new Pichu got all shocky? Sorta hmmm…. Sniffing the air repeatedly the creature came to a stop several paces away from a new diner, this one didn’t seem to have the red circles with thing at least. She tilted her head, tail waging slightly as she did and looked at the Gijinka and his duo of Pokemon.

And of course it would still be something of an understatement that the gijinka male and his pair of released companions would still not be overly focused upon any who may be around them, after all there were indeed just enough people moving about the street's that it would cover any sounds and the like of any who may be specifically heading towards them or otherwise covered any indicators of anyone coming towards them. That and the very fact that the trio would be somewhat more interested in carefully scrutinising the menu and what were lsited there; the more that they would look upon it and would have been discussing with each other the various dishs that would gain their interest and actually sound more than appealing to the point in which that it would otherwise seem as if this would indeed be the place they would be considering visiting in order to get something to eat. Of course the very fact that this were indeed one of the few places that were welcoming to pokemon and generally allowed them to move freely within were an added perk aside from the appetising sounding meals on offer.

So after having made the decision that this would indeed be the place in which they would be stopping for the day - or at the very least for the duration of however long their stay would be here - would Kai and Shay (naturally little Rowan too) begin to turn away frmo where they had been lingering out front and seem to be about to head inside. At least this would have been the case right up until the mere sight of the small Houndour that had seemingly come to a stop and were staring at the little group that would gain the full yet puzzled attention of the larger Luxray who would tilt her head to one side before taking a couple of steps nearer and lowering her head to sniff at the small pup in a careful manner.

Mandy let herself skid to a halt as the fire and dark duel type came into view of the other Pokémon and their Trainer. The little puppy looked at the Luxray as it moved a bit closer to sniff at her, head tilting adorably as she eyed the taller Pokemon. She had seen many Pokemon back after she had been given to Henry to be his Pokemon, many that he used to own and had left with family or released but she couldn’t think of any that looked like the electric cat thing that was sniffing carefully at her. Deciding she might as well speak the little puppy let out a cheerful yip. “Hi! I’m Mandy who’re you? Is that a human eating place that lets in Pokemon? Henry’s been looking for one of those so if it is I can tell him!” She rambled eagerly toward the other Pokemon, unaware if the Gijinka could understand her or even the fact he was a Gijinka as she hadn’t been paying attention to anyone except this particular Pokemon.

At a bit of a more brisk pace though not nearly as fast as the Pokemon had moved her Trainer had gone to catch up, an exasperated huff leaving the man’s lips as he made his way through the small smattering of people that walked around: some had Pokemon, some had small children and some were clustered together so getting through them without causing an issue was a bit problematic but doable. Either way it would leave Mandy with the other Pokemon and their Gijinka Trainer for a few moments.
