APPEARANCE

Katanna is a small girl, not very tall and not very well built. Her eyes are a dark grey that can seem blue in some lights but that may be down to the blue hair on her head, its normally kept down long around her shoulders. She is one of the few in the region who is actually from Japanese decent, something clearly seen in her features and in her dress style.

She may be a doctor but she tends to wear a traditional outfit when she is not in the hospital and will even pin her hair up in the same fashion. Comment on this and you will find yourself coated in mud by her partner, she is a very traditional person. Even if her life has not been so.

HISTORY

Katanna is actually the child of a different world. Her biological mother was a doctor and her father a scientist, they were some of the first in shula to be targeted when Team Rocket moved in to the region to take it for themselves. Katanna can remember the day they had to move from their tiny town and in to the big city, she hated it. There was little water aside that pumped in and she was now unable to swim as she liked to, her mother and father worked all the time and she was left alone in the house. She was 12 years old when her mother came home and told her the awful news.

Her father had been killed, and worse still, her mother was going to have to have a baby they had forced on her.

Time passed on, Katanna set up in her mind she would hate her unborn sibling and her mother did too. The child was born and he was nothing special, the pair were sent away from the city with no money and nothing to support themselves. Moving back to their home town, her mother never recovered from the difficulties of everything and passed within a year. Katanna was now 15, a young girl who was barely getting through school and then she came home to find herself with only her half brother there. She turned to the boy, someone her mother kept totally away from her and then it happened.

His bright blue eyes, her mothers eyes. He reached out to her, the boy now 2 years old and sobbing for his mother and katanna felt nothing but love for the child. He was nothing like whoever his father was, he was like their mother. Katanna lifted him in her arms and felt his legs burning against her side, she moved the boy away and saw his dark brown hair turning white and his eyes dark with fear. She comforted the boy as his feet began to shift and then it happened, her little brother was changed.

He had been created, the DNA of a dewgong and her mothers life. Her brother was a seel gijinka, and she had never known. She had to change quickly then, telling all who would hear that her brother was ill and so she got everything they owned packed up and moved away to lake Laleh and setting up a little home there. The story went that her brother had hurt himself in a fall, his legs broken and so a wheelchair was his only way to move.

On land, it was. Katanna and her brother took to the water, he able to swim there and train water types like no one else. Katanna had to taken up schooling again simply to get a job, to support the pair. She soon learned that she adored helping people, healing them and making them better made her so happy. She spent her time studying and watching her brother meet pokemon in the lake, she soon became a nurse and had to spend days at a time in the towns nearby to get experience.

Her brother was older now, stronger. He could pull himself in to his chair and wheel around, playing his part well and the pair lived happily. Time moved on and the girl became a doctor, something her brother rewarded her with by arranging a pokemon to join her. Her favorite, a local pokemon she fed and drew in her few moments of free time. She quickly named her Chiusa, or Chi, after their mother and now the trio, her and her partner pokemon alongside her brother, spend their time together at the lake or Katanna will be out traveling on her Doctors work and calls.
