Alvin's Breeding Information

Alvin's Ditto Shack is famous all over the Shula. It's technically its located in Mossrock City, but borders the nearby forest and is located far away from the skyscrapers that the city is known for. Despite its name, it's in fact a rather big facility. A large garden with lush green grass, a few trees and bushes and a beautiful pond will probably be the first things that meet your eye. In the middle of the garden is a small cottage where the owner, Alvin, and his Pokemon live.

Alvin is probably the best man to entrust with you Pokemon. He's very caring and takes his work very seriously. He is a skilled breeder and will take care of your eggs until you come and pick them up. Not only that, but he has a wide assortment of breeding items and is willing to lend them to you if you want a specific baby Pokemon.

However, Alvin can't just put two Pokemon in the same room and make an egg appear...no, there are rules.

• If you drop off two Pokemon at the Ditto shack, They must be compatible. That means that they must share an egg group. This page might help you out on this front. If you don't have two compatible Pokemon, Alvin will gladly let you borrow his Ditto.
  

• Breeding costs 1500 tokens and you may only breed once every seven days. You may breed the same Pokémon more than once in one day, but the seven day rule applies after that.
  

• Characters are allowed to use Alvin's Ditto to bred, but no egg moves will be passed on, nor can Alvin's Ditto be used with an incenses.

• A character owned Ditto can pass on egg moves onto offspring. However, the character owned ditto can only breed with pokemon who are already owned by the same character (in the same character pc of said ditto). It can't be bred with other character's pokemon, even if the ditto is owned by the same ooc player.

• Pokemon hatched from eggs on site must raise their levels to 12 before they can breed. Other pokemon can breed at earlier levels so long as the breeding makes sense IC and the mods approve of it.
  
  As an example of the former case: John's Pidgey was bought and hatched from an egg, going through IC development over the course of a while and eventually fell in love with his close friend. However, he is still at level 10. Because he was hatched from an egg, he must be raised to level 12 before being able to breed.
  
  As an example of the latter case: Jeremy's Pidove was caught from a wild thread, and is RPed as an adult despite still being below level 12. Through RP, the Pidove happens to fall in love with another 'mon. In this case, he would be allowed to breed at moderator discretion.

• Eggs will hatch in seven real days. If you got your egg on Monday, it will be able to hatch on the next Monday coming. However if you have your character hold, clean or look after the egg in a post and manage to post 2000 words with it, you can hatch it a day quicker. When a Pokemon hatches it will be at level 5. It's up to you if you want to RP this or not.
  

• If you want to breed a rare Pokémon it will cost you a "Breeder Bribe", which is an item that can only be won in events or found very rarely (and you will most likely only get one rare egg born).
  

• From each litter bred, the person doing the breeding may claim ONE egg from the litter for themselves or for other plot purposes all the other eggs not claimed by the breeders can be moved to the re-homing center at a mod's discretion (or the breeder's request). After two weeks, if an egg is not relocated to the re-homing center, it is deleted from the site.
