It turns out, it didn’t take much to set up a recording space. A cheap microphone, a cardboard box, some foam lining, and a computer were all you really needed. And, given Adeen’s adoration of singing and Brock’s budding interest, the coordinator was all too happy to pick it up for them. It wouldn’t take up too much space in his apartment.
With a canvas tote bag filled with today’s finds, he, Koda, and Adeen made their way through town. The growlithe was beside herself with joy! Recording equipment! She’d only liked to sing for her own pleasure, but Sue was serious enough about her interests to get her something to record with!
“Let’s see… You learn Outrage super late,” he said, nose in his pokedex. “But, we could see about teaching you Snarl or Round.” He clicked the device closed as they came to a stop before a large green space in the midst of the city. “Actually, Round might be good if Brock can learn it, too! You’d battle well together!”
Adeen’s tail wagged a mile a minute. “Really?! I’d love a tutor move! Oh, but there’s a lot we need to get… Are you sure you’re balancing everything well?”
Sue shrugged, thinking of his late nights lately with the odd jobs. He was still trying to figure out what he was going to do until his coordinator career took off, but people at least looked at videos from his debut performance. He just needed to make a real impression, then everything would be okay.
“Eh… It’s fine.”
Koda, trusting in Sue’s plan and thus uninterested in whatever was going on, squeaked in delight. “I see Layla!! Laaaaylaaaaa!” Way to squeak across the tiny park. “Layla, hiii!”
