It was time to get some good old fashion personal training in. And this time around, it was Ascar who would get some one on one training in. The little black and white normal type bounced on her feet, tongue out panting like a dog. She tried to mimic a bark, coming out more of a strange squeak than anything else. It did however, make the raven haired woman giggle. In that, was what the little galarian zigzagoon wanted.

Genesis spend her whole morning moving things around, being sure that the little critter has plenty of room to move about and burn some energy. Ascar kept close to her side, even trying to help in any way she could. A few hours had pass before the agility course was ready, the woman plucking the creature off the ground and moving to the starting platform.

“It’s time to get some of your energy out. Are you ready?” The galarian zigzagoon nodded eagerly, bowing with its bushy tail int he air. The raven haired woman pulled out her stop watch, clicking the button to start the course. The pair darted through the course, running through the poles and over the a-frame. This a frame was smaller of course, Genesis adjusting it to the pokemon size. Ascar blazed through the tunnel, really enjoying that one. In and out of the poles, panting all the while. A few juggle gyms later and the pair made it back to the platform, both out of breath.

Saiya was true to her species. A little trickster. And after the last stun she attempted to pull during her last battle, the raven haired woman needed to try and figure out a way to train her without her attempting to cheat. Deciding not to use the ability course this time around, the woman opted to just do a straight up battle. And luckily, Kirala offered to help.

Genesis stood behind the zorua, giving the rockruff a firm nod. Kirala had plenty of battle experience, so this would be a tough match for the zorua. Genesis command for Saiya to use scratch. But instead, the creature already tried to charm Kirala. She tried the ‘we are pack mates’ trick. The rockruff didn’t fall for it. Taking advantage of the zorua, the canine came in hot to tackle into the dark fox. However, Saiya actually had a brain. A flash of red in her eyes, detecting her path and evading the tackle. Genesis was proud of her.

Again, Saiya tried the we are friends trick. Kirala ignored her, turning around to kick up rocks to throw at the fox. Saiya attempted to dodge, but it failed. She got buried in the rock, knocking her out cold. Genesis sighed, moving to collected her dark fox. She explained to the weak zoura why she lost, but the fox didn’t care. Genesis thanked the rockruff for her help. Next time, Genesis might need to be a little more creative with her approach on teaching this one.

With one special training down, it was time to tackle the next. Luckily, the home gym didn’t have a closing time. And with spring in the air, it meant that the sun didn’t go down as early as before. Although the tree did cast the area into early darkness, it wasn’t something Genesis couldn’t handle with some outdoor lighting and such. She was also luck enough to be able to move her equipment around to fit her needs.

It was also helpful that the one training today was young. This would be their first training session leaving the breeder plenty of time after setting up to give the course a run. The snubbull let out a series of playful excited barks, eager to get some training in. She hated being treated like a weak cute puppy. She was tough and wanted to train to make that a point.

Moving to the starting platform, the pair got ready. Like always, the raven haired woman explained everything to the newer pup. And only after pulling out the stop watch, did the true test begin. Finger came down on the button, pushing the pair to run the course. It proved difficult for the pup, struggling to complete some of the things that Genesis didn’t think she would struggle with. In the end, the snubbull hang her head in shame. The breeder was quick to tell the pup it’s alright, always gotta start somewhere.

Genesis would be lying if she didn’t feel out of place today. She couldn’t explain it. Even as she moved things about to let up her agility course for the canine, the woman couldn’t shake that odd feeling. That odd feeling was so strong, Kuvira could even sense it. She watched her trainer, her sixth sense forcing her to let out a strained whine. It got the humans attention, green orbs lifted to see her grey furred canine giving her a head tilted. Genesis forced a smile on her face, nodding when she felt that she got the course set up.

It was only after she comforted the shulian rockruff did they make their way to the starting platform. Genesis pulled out a stop watch, finger hovering over the button. And when they both were ready, both took off without a moments hesitation. Through the poles, over the a-frame, through the tunnel, across the beam, and so much more. The breeder even made it tricker, moving back through the course in reverse over to give the canine more work.

By the time they were done with the work out, both were panting from exhaustion. They looked at each other, grinning all the while. It did help her mood a little. And Kuvira, wanted to go again. After all, her father was strong. Genesis agreed, moving back to the starting paint to go again.

Much like before, the breeder spent most of her morning setting up an agile course specifically designed to aid in said pokemon for future battles. Today’s agility course was actually more hard core than the typical recently hatched pokemon course. Despite Azula’s young age, the houndour seemed more developed in the sense of awareness and ability to function. With all this in mind and her rather aggressive behavior, Genesis put in the extra effort to wear her down.

It was only when Genesis felt like she was done did she turn to the houndour. Surprisingly enough, the female pup was napping in the corner. Smiling, the woman called to her and motioned to follow her to the starting platform. “Azula. Its time to train. Come on.” The hounder’s eyes shot open, a low grumble of a growl escaped her as she rose to her feet. A good stretch was next, trotting over to the human.

“Okay. We are going to run this course twice. Once than reverse it. Got it.” Azula let out a snort, finding this course too easy. The breeder shouted go, running by the houndour’s side as she guided her through course. Time will only tell if this would be enough. Either way, the breeder knew it would get her energy out for the day and she will leave her fellow pack mates alone.

Once simply tasks seemed almost impossible now. And this whole experience, opened up a whole new world of patience and understanding for those what had suffer from similar things she had. The raven haired woman has tries to put on a brave face, so to speak. Yet, it was clear she was still struggling even after all this time. It was actually her lucario, Ryoko who suggested she take her pokemon to do some special training. His suggestion was a good one. Partake in something a little more ‘normal’ to help her cope with her new disabilities. However, Genesis was doubtful. After all, she couldn’t see or hear. What was the point?

With the assistance of the shulian absolute named Chandra, the group headed out to the dojo for a training session. It was Ryoko who guided her to the dojo, Chandra close by to use her telepathy to communicate what was going on around her and what others were saying. Of course, Evo and Kirala didn’t dare stay behind as they didn’t want anything to happen to their beloved human.

“Alright,” the breeder spoke up, her tone clearly down, “I’m here. You said Killua wanted to train today.” “Yes,” Ryoko spoke softly, gaze flickered to the shulian absol to telepathically communicate with her, “He has been itching for a battle in a while and starting to get restless.” A heavy sigh escaped the woman, but nodded. Lucario turned his gaze to the electric feline, nodded to move found and center. His head high, tail high above his head, and nothing but arrogance in his stance. “I will be training him. Please Chandra, communicate as much as possible to her.” The shulian absol nodded, not fond of her new role but accepted it for now.

For the next several hours, it was Ryoko and Killua who battled it out. The lucario taking on the role of personal trainer for all of Genesis’s pokemon now that she was unable to do so. And with Lucario being much more battle experienced than Killua, this was great training for him to learn his limits and how much he can do. In fact, the fight and steel type could see that this little pup had a lot in him and can see a great warrior in the future. But for now, he was just a cocky pup. In the end, the shinx got what he asked for leaving him well worn down and out for the count. Genesis had a smile on her lips, something that doesn’t happen to often now a days.

Despite being a canine like fanatic when it game to pokemon, there was something marvelous about a dratini. And although it wasn’t her specialty, the breeder wouldn’t help but spend ever last dollar she had to get one. Even now, green orbs observed the little snake dragon with eyes filled with wonder. There was one problem though. Genesis wasn’t sure how to train a dragon. It didn’t have legs like her canines.

Instead of winging it, the breeder asked one of her canine’s to help train the little baby dragon. The shulian growlithe didn’t seem pleased, but did as she asked. Genesis moved in position behind the dragon, offering Kuruk a small smile and a nod to show they were ready. And just like that, the practice battle began.

Of course, the breeder asked her canine to take it easy on the baby. She was still a hatchling after all. A weak water gun came barreling towards them, calling for Naiad to dodge the water. She slithered to the side just in time, only to act on her own accord and send a thunder wave towards her friendly foe. Kuruk was stunned for a moment, allowing the status move to trap him into paralyzation. Genesis blinked, unsure of what to say. Luckily , the newly hatch dragon was wise. Her body took a purple blue glow, rushing forward in surprising speed to crash into the canine with a dragon rush. Kuruk, unable to move, was knocked out cold. Again, the breeder didn’t know what to say.

With how poorly her last special training session went, Genesis felt the need to do another round with her this week. Again, the breeder spent most of the morning organizing and thoughtful planning out a beginner yet challenging agility course for this day. And when it was finally completed, the raven haired beamed with delight. It was her best one yet.

Hands clasped together, green orbs shifted to the light grey poochyena that lazy napped on the side the whole day. “Alright Nymeria,” the human started, moving to kneel down to the canine’s level, “We are going to train twice as hard this time.” Her hand rose, pointer finger shifted abruptly to her nose and pushed gingerly into her. “I mean it Ny. I’m very disappointed with your last session. No messing around this time.” The force of the little push made her nose tingle, forcing her to sneeze.

The human stood, moving to the starting point she made. Twisting her torso to give the canine a look, her finger wiggled for her to come closer. Nymeria grunted, rising to her paws and slowly trotting to her master. With a stiff nod, the woman readied herself. Genesis will force her to train until she dropped. It would be good for her. Yeah. “And… go!”

The pair darted forward, running through the poles, over the a frame, through the tunnel, over little jumps, and across a beam until they reached the finish line. Both were out of breath, but Genesis wasn’t going to rest. “Again. Faster. Let’s go!”
