Iona has changed of late. At least, thats what Genesis has noticed. Yes, she is still her passive friendly self. Yet, a fire has been lite under her butt. The vulpix has the desire to get stronger, feeling that she could help more people and her team of she gets stronger. The breeder wasn’t going to deny her this, actually liking the idea that she at least wants to battle more often.

Running with this, the breeder spent her day setting up yet another agility course for her to run through. Iona, herself, requesting for it to be harder than Genesis planned it to be. Nodding, the woman added a few more obstacles and increased the jumping height on the bars. Surely, this will give the fire fox more of a challenge. And once it was done, the pair moved to the starting point ready to get this done.

The rest of the day was spent running the course over and over again. Running it so much that honestly, both Iona and Genesis were left out of breath and sore. Huffing and puffing, green orbs fell upon the vulpix as she collapsed from exhaustion. Her own gaze met her masters. The breeder gave her a firm nod, pleased with her progress. Now, it was time for a bath.

Izumi was devastated when she found out that her human picked Evo and Kirala to partake in the most recent contest. And no matter how much of a fuss the fennekin put up, Genesis refused to let her be the one to attempt to bring home the ribbon. Of course, her human was generous enough to put the right channel in the tv to let her see the competition. But still, Izumi has been depressed sense then.

However, the breeder promised that she could be in the next contest if she trained some more. And if thats all it took to convince her to let her be in the next contest, Izumi was train her heart out. The fire fox even went the extra mile to help the woman set up the agility course today. And once the equipment was set up to the raven haired woman’s liking, both the human and pokemon moved to the starting platform. Genesis pulled out the stop watch, finger hovered over the button.

A firm click sounded off the pair darted forward. The first tasked was the poles, weaving in and out easily and no time at all. Next, the a frame. Her face twisted into concentration, darting up one side swiftly before dipping down on the other side. Slow and steady. Leaping off the back, the three different heights were next. The first, easy. The second, almost clipped the bar. And last, easy. Her eyes were set on the tunnel, ducking down and zooming without an issue. Out the other side, Izumi ran to the balance beam. This one always startled her. But, not today. Easy. And after a few more jumps, the pair ran to the platform and stopped the time. Both huffed and buffed. Surely, this will convince her that she was ready.

It took some serious convincing to get the little pampered eevee to come out of her house to train today. And one would think that after the humiliating lost of his last battle, the normal type fox would want to train and get stronger. That if he was the all powerful son of Bolt and Shadow, he would at least want to keep in shape. Apparently, the other pokemon got lucky. That’s all.

Whatever the case was, the breeder bribed the spoiled eevee to train today. And after spending all day setting up an agility course for her Kovu to run, the raven haired woman turned to the fox. But when her eyes landed on the creature, it was snoozing in the sun. Normally, this would be a cute picturesque moment. However, that’s all he ever did and it has ruined these cute moments for Genesis. Clearing her throat very loudly, she expected the fox to at least achknolege her. Nope. She sighed.

“Come on,” the woman grumbled, marching over to the eevee and plucking him off his spot, “It’s time to train Kovu.” As expected, he wasn’t sleeping. His eyes shot open, a low hiss escaped his throat. “Quit being lazy. You’re making your parents disappointed.” “How do you know?” He tested her, eyes narrowed when his feet got planted on the platform. Genesis’s hands fell to her hips, her own green orbs narrowed at the fox. “I know. I told them how lazy you are and how weaker you are. I even told them that you lost your first battle. Very disappointed in you.” The eevee gave her a look, a look that said ‘as if’. “I’m serious,” she told him, lying through her teeth but wanted him to get some exercise in, “Come on. This should be easy for you if you are as strong as you claim to be.”

Kovu let out a series of grumbles, shaking his fur back into place before shifting into position. Genesis smirked, pulling out a stop watch. Kovu eyed her. But as soon as her finger flickered, they both were off. Genesis rushed the eevee through all the obstacles, really pushing him so this would prove her point. And when they got to the end, Kovu was huffing and puffing. The breeder’s smirk broaden, hands fell upon her hips and an ‘I told you’ look fell upon her facial features. Kovu hissed bitterly, not made or upset at her but more at the fact that this was hard for him. Why humans gotta be like that?

The little puppy let out a series of excited barks, stubby tail wagged eagerly to get his training done today. The pack was getting stronger and he needed too. Genesis was happy to give the canine the attention he deserves. And after spending the whole day setting up the beginner course for the camper, it was time to get some excesses in.

Moving to the starting platform, the woman got ready. She pulled her stop watch, getting ready. She counted down. And when one came, they took off. Barking the entire time, the pair darted off through the poles. Up and down the a frame, through the tunnels, across the balance beam, and so much more. By the time they were done, both were put of breath. Stryker was no longer barking, mouth parted and panting. Genesis praised the canine, telling him the pack would be proud for his efforts today. The canine let out another round of barks, though clearly tired.

Although Togo wasn’t the type to battle or really do anything other than play, the breeder wanted to give him some special training in hopes that he would be more interested in taking on some battles. After all, he was a father now and he needed to live up to the title of father. At least, thats what Genesis told herself and wanted to give Togo a chance to be it. Togo however, didn’t seem to care even the slightest.

After spending her time setting up a course and encouraging the pup to partake, the raven haired woman and the canine moved to the starting platform. On the sidelines, Togo’s pup sat and watching eagerly. Sense his approval, the pair non stop play. It’s cute but wasn’t much of battling. Grinning ear to ear, Genesis ushered for him to jump up on it. He did, short tail wagged feverishly back and forth. She pulled out a stop watch, pressing the button when she shouted go.

The canine and human ran the course, Togo just happy to be a part of something while the breeder tried to get him to do some work. In the end, Genesis was more tired than the canine. Togo had too much energy and darted to go play fight with his son. The woman sighed heavily.

The breeder was buzzing with excitement after her latest stop and purchase at the local pokemon stores. Although it costed her more money than she wanted to spend at the moment, how could she refused such a rare and stunning creature like it. However, today wasn’t the day to think or focus on that. Leaving the newly bought egg at home to be taken care of and watched over by her pokemon, Genesis choice her cute little camper for some special training.

The little electric pup let out a series of yips, stubby tail wagged feverishly back and forth. Genesis smiled, adjusting the last bit of the agility course she had memorized now for her younger pack members. And as soon as Stryker noticed this, little feet pushed him swiftly to the starting platform. He leaped onto it, nearly missing it and scorpioning onto it. Genesis stifled a laugh, moving to the platform with him and pulling out her stop watch. The yamper was ready, wanting to get stronger for the sake of the packs well being. He was so eager to fit in, the canine wanted to prove himself.

Genesis counted down, shouting go as soon as her finger pressed the button. The pair darted off, tackling each obstacle one by one. The poles and tunnels were easy for the little canine. The jumping poles, a frame, and even the balance beam were difficult for him. And after running the course, the puppy was panting hard. Despite this exhausting, Stryker wanted to do again. He moved to the starting platform again, letting out another series of barks to get his human to came back for another round. The breeder let out a soft chuckle and shook her head, but agreed.

Time flown by so fast this week. One minute, Genesis was setting up meeting and getting ready for the week. The next, the week was over and she hadn’t gotten anything done. Her goal of special training two pokemon each week has proven difficult. Yet the week was almost over and here she was, proving to herself yet again that she can do anything she set her mind too.

She breeder spent the day setting up an agility course for the little sneaky fox, being sure to give her plenty of challenge while also giving her little victories along the way to ensure proper encouragement. And once she was done, a smirk spread across her deep red glossy lips. She turned to the dark fox, motioning with a nod for the creature to follow her to the starting platform. She did, leaping onto the platform once they arrived.

Genesis pulled out her stop watch, pressing firmly down on the button when it was time to start. The pair took off, heading straight for the a frame first. Up and over that, the next was the poles. The little fox moved through the poles, almost tripping at the end but made a swift recovery. Genesis smiled, motioning to the tunnel. Saiya did that, zipping in and out the other side. The jumps were next, leaping over each of them but did struggle over the highest one. Lastly, the balance beam. The one that tricked some of her pokemon but zoura had no issues. Returning to the starting platform, the both were out of breath. Good practice.

Special training this week was very late. Luckily, Iona the Kantoian vulpix didn’t mind. She spent the day learning a few battle tips from Kirala, the only fellow female canine who seemed to not mind helping the pack until like most of the rest of them. The pair spent some time chatting, leaving Genesis the day to set up a decent agility course to help Iona better in battles to come.

And after a few hours of setting up the course, it was ready to run. Genesis called for Iona to get ready, the pair moving to the platform while Kirala watched from the sidelines. The breeder explained the course to the fox, pulling out a stop watch to get ready for the run. And after a moment of preparation, the training began. The ran the whole course several times, leaving both of them worn out and ready for a good rest.

“Great job Iona,” the woman praised the fox, knowing she wasn’t really the type to fight. Iona panted hard, tails wagged. It felt good being able to bring more to the pack, even if she wasn’t the best of fighters. Kirala gave her a pealed nod. Alpha of the pack agreed.
