“Nishari…” The woman let out a heavy exhausted sigh, hands fell upon her hips. “I told you already. Over and over again. You’re not cursed or have bad luck. Your species is literally known for detecting when something bad is about to happen. That’s all. Now please, come so we can start your training.” The woman paused, waiting for her to come closer. But after a minute or two, she still remained still. A brow rose, maybe this will help. “If you want to be a mom, you need to be strong for your young.”

The white sphinx gave the human largest puppy eyes, the sheer notion that she will have offspring in the future made her take the risk of moving closer to the closest thing she called her own mother. Each step was careful, precise, and tense. This, like most of her life, was dangerous. Yet, her human made a good point. She had to be strong to protect her future children.

Leaping onto the starting platform, the feline like creature meet the green orbs of her human mother. Genesis let a small comforting smile spread across her lips, giving her a firm nod. “See.” Nishari wasn’t convinced. The raven hated woman pulled out a stop watch, readying herself to run the course with the absol. She counted down, tapping the button to start the time. Together the pair ran the course, the absol taking her time waiting for disaster to strike. Yet by the time they returned to the platform, nothing bad had happen. YET. Genesis praised the absol, but she still kept her guard up. Never does she want something bad to happen to the one creature she has known sense birth.

To be completely honest, there was no real reason for the breeder to even try for a gym badge. Breeders don’t really need them. However, it would be good for business if she had them to show her canine’s are in top physical condition. Much like partaking in a contest, proving her pokemon are stunning as well. The contest didn’t go as planned. But maybe, the gym will.

With this time mind, Genesis wanted to really push her pokemons training to get them ready for the first gym. She spend the day moving and rearranging the agility course, being sure to really get some work out in this round. Although speed wasn’t everything in a battle, it did help.

It wasn’t only after she felt satisfied with her set up did the training start. The pair moved to the starting platform, Kirala standing tall. On the side lines, her family watched and cheered. Genesis, like always, explained the layout to her. And once it was clear, the pair sprang into action. The jumps were not only higher, but more of them. The a-frame, narrower to make her really work for it. The balance beam, slightly off balance to teach her gravity.. Poles closer together and the tunnel zig zag. All of it was more difficult and it showed. By the time they reached the platform, both pokemona and trainer worn out.

It was becoming abundantly clear that Ziryan was trying to convince Sasori to not trust Genesis. His claim is that human’s need to earn their trust and can’t be just given. Lucky for the breeder, the female shulian starly didn’t seemed to convince. However today, he wanted to prove his strength to the female. He demanded for him to do a practice battle against Genesis and a pokemon of choice. Genesis sighing, but agreeing regardless.

That’s what was going on. One side, Ziryan held his head high with confidence and tail flickered. He knew he had this in the bag. And with the female watching, he’ll prove his point. The raven haired woman sighed, asking Koji to help. Of course, the ditto agreed without a second thought. Beady eyes shifted from Genesis to Ziryan, already transformed into the shulian staravia. Genesis was going to prove him wrong easily. And after a moment or two, the battle began. The key difference this time around was that Koji didn’t have self limitations as well listened to what ever she said. And after a long battle, Koji claimed victory only by a margin. A win was a win and Genesis felt like she proved a point.

Ryoko eyed the young riolu, arms folded over his chest. He wasn’t sure how he felt about this new canine. It was the same species as him, but looked and acted different than he. He couldn’t help but feel the need to keep an eye on him. His human tried to tell him that he was a variant of his. It would explain their difference but it wasn’t enough for the lucario. Genesis grinned either way and moved behind the punching bag.

Standing behind a punching bag and bracing herself behind it, the woman gave the lucario firm nod. The fighting and steel type rose a brow, unsure if she could handle his punch. She grinned, giving him another nod. Determination in his face, the canine draw his arm back and thrusted his fist into the bag. It barely moved, the human grunting when the blow hit. Green orbs flickered to the canine, nodding again.

For the next several hours, the lucario continued to punch the bag with all his might. One after another, he was sure each hit was a solid one. Soon, his muscles started to hurt and his fist was sore. His muzzle parted, panting from exhaustion while his human moved out from behind the bag. She grinned, huffing and puffing herself. Hopefully, this will help his punches hit harder.

With everyone in the team getting stronger by the day, the shulian growlithe felt a little left out seeing as the legendary kyogre would noticed him falling behind. Kuruk is not about to let the all might kyogre down, his guardians need to be the strongest ever. And in order to be the strongest, the canine needed to keep up on his training. He already lost his first few battles, Kuruk didn’t want to lose any more.

“Alright Kuruk,” the woman called out, moving to the starting platform, “It’s time to start.” The shulian growlithe leaped onto the starting platform, stretching himself to ready for the course. The human pulled out a stop watch, offering a smile to the water type before the pair sprang into action. The first up was the a-frame. The canine darted up one side, struggling at the peak to keep his balance before darting back down. The tunnel was easy, in and out the other side. The poles, weaving in and out of those without getting caught was hard. Leaping over the jump bars and across the balance beam. It was all very hard to do quickly, but he made it to the other side. Both were huffing and buffing, lining up to go again.

Still a little butt hurt that she couldn’t partake in the latest contest with Genesis, Izumi demanded that the next one her human took part in she will be picked. At first, the breeder was on the fence. She tried to explain to the fire fox that a bond needs to be strong in order to give a good show. Izumi tried to fight that their bond was strong, but Genesis disagreed. Izumi demanded to fix it. Genesis said she needed to train more. So… here they are.

After spending the day setting up an agility course with the fox right by her side, it was time to run the course as a pair. Izumi was ready, darting to the starting platform with determination in her eyes. She wanted this so bad. And soon as the go was utters, the pair were off. The first tasked was the poles, weaving in and out easily and no time at all. Next, the a frame. Her face twisted into concentration, darting up one side swiftly before dipping down on the other side. Slow and steady. Leaping off the back, the three different heights were next. The first, easy. The second, almost clipped the bar. And last, easy. Her eyes were set on the tunnel, ducking down and zooming without an issue. Out the other side, Izumi ran to the balance beam. This one always startled her. But, not today. Easy. And after a few more jumps, the pair ran to the platform and stopped the time. Both huffed and buffed. Surely, this will convince her that she was ready.

It was getting close to the time the raven haired woman planned on challenging the first gym. Or at least, her initial goal. Unfortunately, it seems that the team weren’t there yet. It was this reason the woman wanted to focus on her top two that she was for sure taking to the gym. With Evo being one of the most experienced battler in her pack, the raven haired woman took extra time this morning to set up the agility course to give him a good workout. It wasn’t just a longer course to run, the breeder also rose the jump beams to force him to jump higher. The a-frame was much steeper, giving the canine a harder time to go up. She also added a few poles at the end in hopes this would prove enough for the canine.
