With the coming of winter several weeeks previously there had been a lesser need - at least for the most part - for rangers as a whole to need to go out into the wild area's to ensure that people or pokemon did not get into any form of trouble. As such this had been part of the reason in which one of the many rangers that worked within Shula that were Layla would have allowed herself a short break for part of today, of course it would not mean that she were not working for she would be combining work and leisure for a while today. This would be the very reason Layla would be within Mossrock City today, despite the cold weather the short pale haired woman would be wrapped up reasonably well for the time she would spend wandering the streets with a couple of her pokemon.
In the case of the small Lillipup that would be trotting alongside the woman this woukd be a good opportunity to get some real world 'training' done in even if it were just a case of making sure all was well in the city while in the case of the small Oshawott it would be a case of using this as a way to get the little guy used to the work in which were involved in ranger work.
Though Layla would have since considered that just maybe it were a good time to take a break and head to a local cafe in order to get something to eat and generally take a break for a while, of course it would not take Layla all too long to find a suitable cafe that were on their route and would also have a good view of the streets in case they needed to leave in any form of hurry. Though the amusing thing would be the fact that Tonalli - the Oshawott that were matching just ahead of the woman - would be taking his role as 'protector' of the ranger quite seriously with slashing his shell around at invisible opponants.
Of course it would stop as soon as they would enter he cafe and approach the counter and begin studying the menu in a thoughtful way, Layla periodically murmuring suggestions to her pair of pokemon to what they might have for their break for there were indeed so many choices to be had.
