Sirius demanded for some training. He wanted to be strong like his grand father. Genesis rolled her eyes. The pup didn’t even know his grand father let alone met him. Either way though, the breeder did want to get some training in for him. And surprisingly enough, Kirala wanted to battle against her little pup to help get him stronger. The mother rockeruff stood on one side, a snarl escaped her while her bushy tail wagged. Sirius growl bitterly, telling him mom to take this seriously. Genesis chucked.

In a blink of an eye, the battle started. Kirala showing not only her strength, but her power to hold back when she needed too. And it didn’t take long for Kirala to put her little boy in his place, quickly shoving him into the ground. Snarls ripped through them both, only for the trainer to step in and call the battle done. Sirius was clearly butt hurt, but the little dog had a lot of drive. It was a good and bad thing. But for now, her canine’s were tired and it was time to head home.

Despite being a canine like fanatic when it game to pokemon, there was something marvelous about a dratini. And although it wasn’t her specialty, the breeder wouldn’t help but spend ever last dollar she had to get one. Even now, green orbs observed the little snake dragon with eyes filled with wonder. There was one problem though. Genesis wasn’t sure how to train a dragon. It didn’t have legs like her canines.

Instead of winging it, the breeder asked one of her canine’s to help train the little baby dragon. The shulian growlithe didn’t seem pleased, but did as she asked. Genesis moved in position behind the dragon, offering Kuruk a small smile and a nod to show they were ready. And just like that, the practice battle began.

Of course, the breeder asked her canine to take it easy on the baby. She was still a hatchling after all. A weak water gun came barreling towards them, calling for Naiad to dodge the water. She slithered to the side just in time, only to act on her own accord and send a thunder wave towards her friendly foe. Kuruk was stunned for a moment, allowing the status move to trap him into paralyzation. Genesis blinked, unsure of what to say. Luckily , the newly hatch dragon was wise. Her body took a purple blue glow, rushing forward in surprising speed to crash into the canine with a dragon rush. Kuruk, unable to move, was knocked out cold. Again, the breeder didn’t know what to say.

It was time to do some training. And what better way to train, than against your own team. Today, the raven haired woman wanted to train Sasori more. She had been on the team for a while and hasn’t had much time to train. After pleading with Ziryan if he could help, the shulian staravia agreed only if he could have the lead. The breeder said no, but he still agreed.

“Alright,” the woman called out to Ziryan from the other side of their make shift field, “Take it easy on us.” The shulian staravia huffed. Rolling her eyes, Genesis called out the first attack. Luckily, she breeder knew what Ziryan was going to do. She ordered the shulian starly to tackle, running forward until she leaped into the air to catch flight. Ziryan dodged it easily, turning on a dime to wing attack. She called for Sasori to use upraor, stunning the more experience bird. Genesis called out for her to attack, only for Ziryan to get the upper hand.

The battle didn’t take long at all, giving that Ziryan was much stronger. However, both were pretty worn out in the end. A long days work. Hopefully, this will help Sasoari enough.

Despite the surprised evolution and change in Kofu’s physical appearance, the male pokemon hasn’t changed one bit. He was cold, distant, and lazy. In same ways, maybe it was destiny that he accidentally evolved into a glaceon. His personality fit the evolution to a T. However, the breeder really didn’t want Kovu to evolve until he matured more. But alas, there as nothing she could do for him now. Just except it, and move on.

“Kovu,” the woman grumbled, annoyance in her tone, “You need to get some training in. You need to learn your body and its limits. Come on. Battle against Akaash.” The icy vulpix stood, strutting his stuff as he made it to his side of the large battling area. The glaceon turned his head away, refusing to battle. The breeder crossed her arms over her chest, glaring darkly at the glaceon. Kovu, curious, turned his gaze to see what his human was doing. And went he did, he felt the sting of an angry trainer.

“Fine,” Kovu hissed, moving to his side of the pretend battlefield, “But I don’t ever want to battle again after this.” Genesis rolled her eyes, but expected the somewhat win. And once both pokemon were in position, the raven haired woman started the battle. The two exchanged blows, Akaash surprisingly putting in some effort despite his normal laziness as well. In the end, the Allan vulpix ended up winning the fight. Kovu not use to his new body enough to be effective in battle.

It was hard to believe that so much time has past in what felt like only a month. And although the breeder was hoping to challenge the first gym by next summer, Genesis wasn’t about to not train her other pokemon. After all, every single one of her pokemon need to be in top physical condition even if they are being breed or ever plan to be. With that in mind, the breeder spend her morning organizing a sparring match between her shulian riolu and a volunteers pokemon.

Green orbs fell upon the cite little bear pokemon, admiring how well taken care of the little spinda was. The woman knelt down next to Osiris, whispering a few last minute tips for the ghost and fighting type before rising to her feet again. This shouldn’t be too hard for the shulian form, he had the type advantage. A flip of a coin determined who should go first. And by pure lucky, they guessed it right.

Genesis called out the first move. Osiris moved, aiming to quick attack his foe. However, the spinda was quicker than he anticipated. It dodged the quick attack simply by copycating their own move. It then began to dance, strongly at that. Its movements almost glitchy, teeter in an unfamiliar dance. It confused Osiris, forcing him to trip over his own feet instead of quick attacking. It didn’t stop there. The spinda then tackled into the shulian pokemon, sending him back a few paces and too confused to counter act his weight to catch himself. And when the canine got to his feet, he attempted a feint. In the end, only hurting himself and effectively knocking himself out. Well… that didn’t last long.

The winter months have always been hard on the raven haired woman. The bitter cold and icy conditions being her achilles heels. It also didn’t help that she live in the middle of the darn forest. The winter months made it hard to travel. With all her pokemon still too young to ride and cars still being too expensive for her, this meant she had to track through the snow to get anywhere. Iy was rather annoying. Yet, she couldn’t just stay in her house and keep cozy next to the fireplace all day. Right?

“Right Koji,” the woman called out from behind the pink blob, a single nod gestured to the shulian rockruff on the other side, “Let’s make this count.” After all, she had to walk all the way here. The ditto gave a firm nod, blobby form turned back to his pretend foe. He waved to Kuvira, who simply huffed and turned her head. And in that moment, the ditto shifted his cells. Soon, two shulian rockruffs stood on the battlefield. Genesis called out an attack, the canine Koji darted forward with his tongue out. Kuvira scoffed, she made her look so lame.

The real attempted to counter, shifting her weight so Koji would not only miss but trip over his own paws. He did, tumbling over himself before face planting the ground. Genesis let out a sigh, knowing that Koji just wasn’t a fighter. However, she wanted for him to get at least a little stronger. She called out another attack, Koji taking it a little more serious this time. Miraculously, the canine managed to bite her. Kuvira, however, wasn’t happy about that. She began to thrash about until he let go. And before Genesis knew it, the battle was over with Kuvira being the winner. She should have guessed that.

Unlike Evo, Kirala wanted an actual battle tor practice for the dark gym. And the only one that could prove a change, would be Nymeria. Of course, the poochyena didn’t want to. It took some real convincing to get her to agree to do this. But after several hours of Kirala begging the canine, somehow she got her to agree to it and actually try to win the fight. Kirala moved to one side of the small clearing by their house while Nymeria moved to the other. Genesis stood on the sidelines, doing her best to hide her smile.

Genesis counted down and the practice battle began. Kirala started the battle with a nasty looking leer at the poochyena, forcing her to second guess herself. And in that moment of hesitation, the rockruff darted towards her in a tackle. Their bodies collided, a small whine escaped nymeria but she didn’t back down. The dark dog darted towards the rock dog, muzzle parted to bite down on the little rockeuffs tail.

She yipped, paws dug into the each to sand attack her. The sand blasted her eyes, being forced to let go and put some distance between them as she tried to get the sand out of her eyes. Kirala once again, too advance of her. She double teamed herself before sending a rock throw in her direction. Over all, the battle didn’t last long at all. Kirala was the victory leaving Nymeria beaten up and nearly blinded.

With her plans to take on the year this year now pushed onto the next year, the raven haired woman decided to give her pokemon more time to get stronger and think of better strategy to face the gym. And with Ryoko out of practice for a while and a new found direction in life, the breeder was quick to set up something for the lucario in hopes to keep him moving in the right direction. After all, they had some bond recovery to do as well.

Ryoko eyed the young shulian riolu, arms folded over his chest. The human smiled, explaining the purpose of this training exercise again to both so they each understood what was going on. Ryoko nodded. He understood and agreed, but it felt young to beat up on the young. However, his human did make a good point. Think of this as though he was training his own young, or like a young pup from his old pack. It was hard to think of it that way, both were trauma in their own way. But, doable.

So for the next several hours, Ryoko began to train the young riolu in the art of hand to hand combat. Of course, the lucario went easy on the young boy but still gave it his all. Genesis would observed in the background, stepping in when she felt was necessary or when she had her own ideas. In the end, both the lucario and the riolu were worn down. And in some ways, Genesis felt that Ryoko got some training in despite being paired against a much younger foe. She was happy in the end.
