Yeah makes sense, had an unenjoyable childhood and just looking for the basics in life, though wouldn't say depressed outlook, that's a bit much.

Bug-types are easygoing, flexible and friendly. They tend to value quality over quantity in their interpersonal relationships, but can befriend a very diverse set of people.

This is pretty accurate though takes work to befriend Sera.
